He auditioned for HL, and didn't get the part, but just like Felice, the producers kept him in mind for future projects.

He said he never had to audition for Mr. Bradley because he had already auditioned for the producers (who produced HL, DS, and FOL), and they were all, "If you can do HL, you can do Mr. Bradley". (I know, I know: he didn't actually do HL, but that's what he said the producers said).

One of my favorite sitcoms of the '80s (and ever) is "Mr. Belvedere", and he played a fear-of-flying class instructor (not on how to fear flying, but on how to overcome it :lol: ). He led the class right there in the Owens's living room! :)
