I just watched the two episodes of Super Password featuring Lucille Ball from 1988 that Buzzr aired on March 8th, and can't believe NBC ever let these episodes air in the first place. It was clear she was suffering from significant neurological issues and was not fit to participate. I think she ended up winning just $900 for her charity over 5 days, and according to IMDB this was her last televised appearance outside of two award shows. What a sad end for a such a wonderful person.

She wasn't exactly a Rhodes Scholar to begin with.

Actually, she was a pretty smart woman. She was the first woman to head up a major Hollywood studio in the 1960s. I've seen her on episodes of Password from the 1960s and she did pretty well on them.

She was filming those episodes when she found out Desi Arnaz died. She was more upset about his death. Seemed like maybe she had been drinking.

Desi passed away two years earlier than when SP was taped.

I guess I was talking about different episodes I was talking about the ones from December 1986.
