The US TV networks have yet to announce the dates for this year's upfronts presentations, likely because they're still waiting for the Disney/Fox merger to become official. That should happen by March 20. The Canadian networks have already announced their dates and are waiting as well. I will publish both lists on this page when everything becomes final. When the fall schedules are finally announced, the final lineups will be chosen from a large group of pilots that have already been screened and reviewed and are still hoping to be approved. This list represents the complete group of pilots that will be looking to make the cut and, as I expected, many of them are of the must-not-see variety. I never thought I would ever say this during my lifetime but to me it looks as though Fox has the best overall group of new sitcoms of the 4 major networks. Disney's influence is already starting to pay off:

The big event for me will be the IndieNET presentation (on my birthday!) when CHCH will unveil their new set of retro daytime shows for Sept. That will surely be worth waiting for. I will post the results later that day along with the other Canadian networks the following week.

One thing I have wondered: how is it that Canadian stations can air US primetime programs the same week, but it takes new seasons of Heartland forever to reach the US?

Update: May 10
With the US upfronts scheduled to begin this weekend, it appears that one of the main Canadian attractions is about to miss the party. In a very surprising statement released on Twitter earlier today, Rogers Media, owner of Sportsnet, CITY TV, OMNI TV, and various other assets, including the Toronto Blue Jays and 50% of the Toronto Maple Leafs, announced that they will be cancelling their traditional upfront presentation scheduled for June 4, and instead will be presenting their new fall shows in an intimate, private affair with a selected group of sponsors and media. This is likely due to the fact that their revenues and ratings have been lower than expected and they are doing this to save expenses. This is indeed a very strange and unusual manouver and it could only lead to more financial woes later in the fiscal year. The other networks will all be proceeding with their upfronts at the scheduled dates, no doubt all laughing to the bank at Rogers' latest peculiar decision.
