Fox launched the police reality show on March 11, 1989. Thirty years later, Cops is still going strong with Season 31 airing on Paramount Network.

Live PD is much better. COPS is beyond boring and predictable. 7 out of 10 stories is the same: car gets pulled over, cop smells pot.
