With tomorrow being this talented young man's 22nd birthday, I will be more than happy to share this video of his.

LEJbq9afVio

God bless you and him always!!!

Holly

P.S. My introduction to him was his film named Lifted which was released in 2010. This video was released two years later. Two more songs named "Anything For You" and "Everything's Changed" were later on released as well as the videos that were made to go with them. His other acting credits include supporting roles on the A&E show named The Glades and the Disney show named Girl Meets World as well as leading roles in the films named The Nanny Express and Alabama Moon.

Wendy James' Sugar Takes Her Coffee Black (It's not on Youtube)

Spotify has 5 albums of hers, and a few singles, but not that one.

Now I really want to hear this mystery song.

"Hot As a Docker's Armpit" --by 70's Welsh metal band Budgie.

They were a huge influence later on Metallica and Megadeth and other 80's bands.

This song title should be placed in the thread "Song Titles That Won't Be Repeated". They were a very *different* sort of band.

Good choices so far. And no one’s posted ‘Stairway To Heaven’, which is something I’d probably have done if someone else had started this topic :)

Moving on.......

A great song by Carole King that no one seems to have heard of/talks about much is her song "Nightingale", of course among others. That is an absolutely amazing song that I love to listen to.

The song I mentioned, Blue Ribbon Clown by Curley Barrix, is a country/western tune from 1966. I have a near mint copy of the vinyl 45. The lyrics go something like this:

I held a dream of many men
I knew that she was true
The kind of girl we'd all die for
With just the right things, too
But like a fool I took for granted
The loveliness she gave
And lost it all because of lust
For thrills I'd seem to crave

Oh yes, I'm just a Blue Ribbon Clown
I won the prize for foolish guys
The saddest heart in town
Now I'm left with the memory
Of nights that I despise
The constant spark of agony
Within my lonely eyes

Now it's too late for me to regain perfect ecstasy
But maybe by my efforts
I can make somebody see
Don't stray, don't risk your world
Or your happiness at home
For just like me you'll have to wear
The title of alone

Oh yes, I'm just a Blue Ribbon Clown
I won the prize for foolish guys
The saddest heart in town
Now I'm left with the memory
Of nights that I despise
The constant spark of agony
Within my lonely eyes

And the constant spark of agony
Within my lonely eyes

'Armin Meiwes' by SKYND

(Based on the 2001 incident in which a young man answered Armin Meiwes' internet ad to voluntarily be murdered and cannibalized. The song uses quotes from his ad.)
