I had to laugh out loud in Wally’s Car Accident when Ward and June have just come home and talking about the wax job on the car. The phone rings and it sounds like it’s on the car hood it’s so loud. It’s in a house with no windows open and should have barely been heard. Love how Ward answers it very off handedly so Lumpy will think it’s Wally.

One thing I noticed: Although we didn't see it, I think based on the boys' conversation (and the fact that Ward yelled he wanted to see Wally in the den) that Ward talked to Wally. In this case it would have been Wally who should have stood up for himself: he should have told Ward, I was about to tell you what happened, when you ran in to answer the phone.
That's the second time we had a phone mistake incident; the first one involved Eddie--wasn't it the other car mishap, with the "flatted" tire? Wally needed to warn his friends, when you call, make sure it's me on the line before you talk!

And a third incident, before "Wally's Car Accident," was when Wally and the other boys were invited to spend the weekend with Scott. Scott thought he was talking to Wally and referred to Ward as "your old man" not realizing he was talking to Ward. Of course he immediately apologized and Ward wasn't too offended.

Ward has a way of hearing stuff he wasn't meant to. Not involving the phone, but I think it was in Ward's Baseball, Larry is talking to Beaver from outside, and says, "You have a real Scrooge for a father." Without losing his cool, Ward tells Larry Beaver is being punished, and asks him to leave.

In another episode Ward is in the boys’ bathroom when Eddie comes into the boys’ room. They had been collecting clothes for some charity and Eddie asks what sort of a tax deduction is your old man taking on this stuff. Ward isn’t pleased and wants to tell him off.

In an early episode Ward enters the living room, having just gotten home, and sits down, unnoticed. Wally and June come in and talk about doing something before Ward gets home, or he'll blow his top.

I remember that something about orange peels in the living room and your father will be angry. June says Ward I didn’t know you were home. Ward says the monster has returned to his cave.

I wonder if that's the hunting jacket episode.

I think Ward is holding mail for Beaver from Billy Payton and Wally takes him on the bus to Crystal Falls in Bus Trip.
