It's one of the top 5 theme songs ever...PERIOD!

Sorry, but it was generic, bland and uninspired.

I almost think that the theme was either a very last-minute decision or was decided early on when Ted Knight and/or the showrunners were trying to figure out what the premise of the show would be.
