The Librarians will be coming to UP TV starting Wednesday, March 13 which is next week and this will be replacing the Wednesday night showings of Gilmore Girls which will still be seen in the afternoon along with the usual Friday night primetime block.
Before this happens, there will be a Librarians movie marathon on Sunday and again on the day that the show premieres which is Wednesday. The Home Improvement block will be cut just two episodes short because of this marathon for the movies.
I was surprised to find out that UP would be adding a drama to their lineup. Maybe adding sitcoms such as The Bernie Mac Show just simply doesn't work for them.

I've never watched UP; do they also crunch the credits? If so, well, they've lost another viewer!!!!:mad:

Heartland will surprisingly be increased to 4 episodes a day starting Monday. 8AM-noon, and Heartland will start at the very beginning. 2 hours of Home Improvement are cut but it will still air 6 episodes from 12-3PM.

I lost UP but IIRC their credit treatment isn't nearly as annoying as Antenna TV. I think they just pop up a small message at the bottom of the screen with a promo of the next program. But the credits and the theme, I thought, were still played...unless they've changed things.

The full thing airs on Home Improvement, but end credits are crunched on Gilmore Girls and past dramas that aired at some point last year, 7th Heaven and Touched by an Angel. No split screen at the start of the next show for anything on UP.
I'm not surprised that HI is being cut back because of Heartland.
