And Margery as well
Christy is a good character but not very well written at times like how she tends to judge others for making mistakes when she does the same things half the time
But I guess that's what you get with a Chuck Lorre show at least this one is way better than two and a half men

Wendy is the least self-absorbed. She's also very kind and very mindful of other people's feelings. Bonnie is selfish, sometimes thoughtless too. Christy can be very judgmental. I wanted to smack her in the episode when Marjorie's husband died. Christy was such a huge nag to Marjorie because she wasn't "grieving" the way she wanted. Jill can be very shallow, but she's a decent person. Tammy is cool. Marjorie is OK most of the time. I think the nicest is Wendy.

Christys character drives me nuts!!! She's so damn judgy and preachy and comes off as an unrealistically naive good girl type when really she's an alcoholic/drug/gambling addict ex-stripper with a lengthy criminal record and two baby daddies, just to name a few of the things keeping her new persona from being possible. Not to mention how much **** she gives her mom for her childhood when she did basically the same thing to her own not just one but two children??!!

Um, because people behave how they've seen their parents behave and it's all they know?! Not that it isn't depressing because it is.

Just no. Bonnie is a horrible and disgusting woman. If I knew somebody who was actually like that I'd avoid them like the plague! I really hate her. Which probably says how good an actress Allison Janney is. Because the times I've watched the show I always want to reach through the screen and throttle Bonnie! She's absolutely awful. Why is Mom popular anyways? It's one of the most dark and depressing and sad shows I've ever seen. It's like it's nothing but "life sucks and then you die" scenarios from what I've seen. I really don't see any point in it. And I can't figure why Christie wants a relationship with Bonnie, or why Bonnie has any friends or a boyfriend. Nobody I know would put up with her. I won't watch the show period.

I like the show because it feels realistic. Bonnie is meant to be antagonistic because it drives Christy crazy. Christy wants a relationship with her mom because it's her mom. Yet she gets judgmental because Bonnie is antagonistic. It's an unhealthy family dynamic, and it mirrors millions of other co-dependent relationships in the real world.
