Since there are "no stop signs between here (Cleaver house) and Carolyn's house", wouldn't you think Beaver and Susan both go to Grant Avenue School? Based on their phone conversation, it seemed they'd never met.

I thought the same thing!! Carolyn is a new girl in high school and Susan in the 8th grade should be the new girl in Grant Avenue Grammar. Unless Pine Avenue is a long street like Route 66 and goes into the next town with right of way. LOL

So many new girls in Mayfield. Hey maybe Susan is in another 8th grade class. When I was in 8th grade we had 10 divisions.

And Wally sure is dating around. At the end of the next episode, that silly one with Major Hockstetter stealing the ice cream, he's going over to Mary Ellen's. Carolyn and Julie, by the wayside...

Major Hockstetter?

Yeah, that guy stealing from the dairy was the guy who played Major H. on Hogan's Heroes.

His big line re Hogan, who was always hanging around Klink's office, was (yelling): "What is this man DOING here?"

(I may sound like a fan of that show, but I'm not.)

Of course that silly episode with the foreman and assistant who resembled the professor on Gilligan. That was so poorly written. If they had been stealing before hiring Wally and Eddie why wasn’t it uncovered? As the assistant says “ do you think they will cramp our style?” I still don’t see how Eddie helped them steal. You would think Eddie would go up to Mr. Worden and thank him for the free ice cream. When Wally puts the ice cream sundaes in the refrigerator I thought that was the funniest thing.

That was really cute. I wish they had shown the actual date, had there been one!
