In my opinion, once Frasier finally ends its long, successful run, it will mark the end of Cheers in primetime. (I know Cheers ended years ago) What I mean is that Frasier was a spinoff of Cheers and so it kept the soul of Cheers alive on network TV. Once that ends, all we'll have are reruns and a dream of one day putting together a reunion movie. Even though Frasier might have lost some of its edge, I'm in no hurry for it to end for this reason. I also wouldn't mind some sort of Frasier spinoff either. Anybody else feel that way?

I never thought of that until now. Now I'm scared to see Frasier end! (on hands and knees praying) Please let there be a Frasier spinoff! lol. I know that was a bit crazy but hey it's the truth.

Look at it this way...

How many other shows can say they provided us with two decades of comedy?

It is a monumental achievement, not to be equaled for a long time.

I hadn't thought of that either. But both Cheers and Frasier will be in syndication until the bitter end of humanity, so we'll always be able to see them and remember!!! :)

LOL Suddenly my idea of a Frasier spinoff of the Moon family doesn't sound like such a bad idea does it?!? ;-)

You never know Frasier could have a spin off of it's own.

How about a spinoff about Frasier's old agent Bebe? She was a ruthless woman.

I personally want to see a spin-off featuring Roz.
I believe one of the reasons Frasier is such a sucessful show is that the character was under-utilized and left by comparison to most of the other Cheers characters under developed. Although we saw plenty of Frasier's life in Boston, we were never shown much of his family etc.
I feel that a spin-off featuring, for example Sam and Diane would have not lasted anywhere near as long because the characters were much more developed and their relationships examined in close detail.
I think the same would be true for a spin-off featuring the Moon Family.
Roz on the other hand is at essentially the same point of character development that Frasier was at the end of Cheers.

It will be very difficult to see Frasier end especially if there is no spin-off because it will mean the end of som, ething that I have known and loved my entire life.

you really make an excellent point about the other spinoff ideas. The only question I have about a Roz spinoff is her future with Frasier. If they end up a couple(Which it looks like they're gonna pursue)then I doubt there will be a Roz show.

I'm sure if they end Frasier with the two a couple, they can always split them up like they did Frasier and Lillith. The only problem with that is you might leave Frasier fans upset that Frasier never ends up happily ever after with a woman.

I read in the TV guide a couple of months ago that Frasier will wind up with a woman. I forget if it was happily or not.
