Today...I had to sacrifice my wants...again! I love going to this writing club...but if I can't get a ride...I can't go!

I also can't find a place that does taxes for free, so I have to pay someone! And before this summer...my boss is retiring.

If there's people who say they're some who are born gay...then there's something I'm born this way into...a loser!

I don't have the option of losing...there's born winners...and born losers! I'm just **** outta luck!

PS-It seems that what I want...I have to get myself...or I can't get it...I'm in a REAL Bad Mood!

Can't you take a bus to the writing class?

Can't you take a bus to the writing class?

I can...but I need a ride back or I have to leave early since the buses depart every hour in the evening...

I had enough...I have no other choice but to get a car...I wanted to get a house, but I can't right now...it has to be a car!

I'm VERY blue about what's happening...not just that, but my boss is pushed to retire, I may get laid-off, and the clouds are the limit for me!

Does anyone in your writing class live near you and might be able to give you rides?

I did ask...that may be an option I'll have to take...that and buying a car.

I wanted to get a house, but...that may not happen.

No, Good Luck happens when a person has the following: Motivation, Passion, and A LOT of hard work, not because a person is born with it.

Figure out a way to get to your writing class, and just DO IT instead of complaining about it on Sitcomsonline.

I apologize for being blunt, but no one said life is easy, and most of the time, the things that we want the most (out of life) takes a lot of hard work and sacrifices.

Good Luck To You:wave:

I apologize as well...I wanted to do something joyful and what gives me hope. I hate it when I can't do that...plus, I'm getting pressured to find a new job and it doesn't help that my dad is breathing-down my neck to say "find a job, they'll fire you, move back home"!

I don't know if you're looking for solutions, or just venting. We've all given you plenty of solutions before, so I guess you're just venting.

There, there. Everything will be okay. That is if you make it okay. You have the power.

My computer is out-of-whack, I can't even load it...I have another one...Thank God! But my dad keeps trying to control my life he's a broken record..."Find Another Job, Come Over To The House On Sunday"!

I'm gonna have to reset everything on the other computer and I might as well move back home...let my dad win!

Why should someone do your taxes for free?

Do you work for free?

You have to get what you want yourself?

Welcome to the world. That's the way it's supposed to be.

Losers are made, not born.

Okay I'm 36...but it isn't easy to be living by myself...I pay rent and bills.

I’m 37 and I find it fine to live alone and pay my bills. Not looking to buy a house as I enjoy renting. My rent here in Austin is significantly cheaper than a mortgage payment, HOA fee, and property taxes would be anyhow.

Here’s what you need to do:

1. Get out of Cleveland.
2. Move to someplace that actually has a decent economy.
3. Get a job that pays at least $12.50 an hour.
4. Find an older, well-kept apartment building to move into that has lower rent than average.
5. Buy a jalopy car that offers you basic transportation.
6. Don’t worry about getting married, having a family, or buying a house! You’ve got to be earning six figures to get those things these days anyhow. You can be much happier and comfortable living alone. If you really hate being alone, get a dog or cat.

Until you do these things, you’ll always be miserable. No one can get you out of your funk except you.

I agree with both you guys. There's nothing wrong with living alone at ANY age. At my former apartment complex I had a neighbor who was in his 50s and taught Greek & Latin at a Catholic high school & he lived alone.

Although I would say it's strange if you're alone you're ENTIRE adult life. That's 40 to 50 years or longer!

I don't want a loveless life either...but I'm afraid that'll happen to me...:(

With a negative and defeatist look on life, then you will more than likely be alone. How can you make someone happy when you aren't?

Nothing will change unless you make it happen.

On the subject of living alone, that's what I do. There are positives to living alone but it isn't always a picnic, it gets lonely sometimes, but with all the BS going on with people these days, I'm probably better off being single. I'm a homeowner and the house is paid for so there are no mortgage payments. Where I live, property taxes are low so that isn't really an issue either. My annual homeowners insurance payment is higher than what I pay in property tax. I'm fortunate to have enough money so I can afford to stay home and not have to work. In a few years I can apply for my social security retirement benefits, I should be alright financially until then. Life isn't perfect, but overall I'm doing good and am thankful for what I have.

How bad is your autism? I have Asperger's (sef-diagnosed) but I still get up and drive myself to work every day.

You seem high-functioning, based on your descriptions of your situation.

I am...it's just that SSDI helps me live on my own and the like...I wish that I can make an appeal...why does the government HAVE to be so stubborn?
