I Guess so for Sunday nights only.
They still on weeknights
I Guess so
At least The Jeffersons will still be on TVOne. What's weird though is that my TV guide is not even showing MeTV's listings for The Monkees at all.

Svenfan1234 02-26-2019, 06:31 PM I wish MeTV would bring Laverne & Shirley back. That would be a nice tribute to Penny Marshall.

They should get rid of a Western and replace it with that.

I agree. They do air way too many westerns.

I mean, keep at least one Western and get rid of all the others to make room for Laverne & Shirley.
TV Guy 02-26-2019, 07:05 PM Monkee Comes to METV March 3Just one Monkee? Couldn’t they afford the others?
tlc38tlc38 02-26-2019, 07:46 PM Westerns are the new credit crunch.
I could go the rest of my life and never see another western—-that’d make me so happy. My dad has ran them into the dang ground.

They Already Did a Tribute to Penny Marshell back in December 2018
3 hrs episodes of Lavene and Shirley and then the two Christmas episodes

They will be on Every Sunday evening the entire 58 episodes

3 hrs episodes of Lavene and Shirley and then the two Christmas episodesHas Laverne and Shirley remained off the regular schedule since then? If so, that's not much of a tribute. And does its parent show Happy Days still air? I don't follow MeTV's schedule much. It is a worthless channel to me since I don't have an affiliate. If they don't have any use for Happy Days and Laverne and Shirley any more, Antenna TV should snatch the rights away from them.
BigManMike 02-26-2019, 09:47 PM MeTV showed maybe two or three Christmas episodes of Happy Days as part of their Sunday afternoon Christmas block in 2018 and that was it. Decades did a Laverne and Shirley binge in March 2018 then MeTV did the tribute to Penny Marshall followed by two Christmas episodes which were also part of that Christmas block. Happy Days hasn’t been on the main schedule since summer 2017 and Laverne and Shirley hasn’t been on the main schedule since 2016. They need to get rid of some westerns and add those two back. But Antenna does not need to get their grubby little credit crunching hands on them either.
In Canada, "The Monkees" will return to CHCH's great retro lineup on May 27 at 11:30 am, ironically replacing "Laverne & Shirley". This is great news because it is one of my favourite series, but it will be tough to watch again now that both Davy and Peter are gone, having both died in the last 2 years. Peter was also my favourite Monkee! :(
I think a fitting tribute for both the group and the show would be to have them in the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame. While their careers were very short and they sometimes weren't taken seriously by music critics, their influence on TV, music, and music videos cannot be underestimated. Even the Beatles were big fans of the show! You can't ask for a better endorsement than that.

Logo is more regular with airing Laverne & Shirley, but it's a cable network, often available only in higher priced packages, although in Philo's $20/mo package. Actually it's easier just having Netflix DVD version for $10/mo, although the first disc of the first season of L&S is hard to get, and It's A Living (another show currently on Logo) is not on DVD.
One can get MeTV with Dish Network as apparently it's carried via a nationwide feed, but it's probably not worth it for the price and hassle to switch.
Decades sometimes airs marathons. It had a Diff'rent Strokes, then The Facts of Life then The Jeffersons one recently. It might do L&S one day or already, I wonder though about rights, as those shows aren't regularly aired on that channel.

No such luck. The next 2 Decades marathons are Police Woman (March 3) and Cannon (March 10).

I wish Me-TV would pick up Police Woman.

The thing about Logo is that they chop way too much out of their shows like Laverne & Shirley and It's a Living. Apparently It's a Living is only about 19 minutes per episode in a 30-minute timeslot with lots hacked out and sped up. It's unbearable to watch shows on Logo.
Merry24 02-27-2019, 03:12 PM Agreed to bad Saturday’s & Sunday’s aren’t the same schedule.
Really happy though to see The Monkee’s back on TV!!!!
Samme 02-28-2019, 12:53 PM Sounds like they got one person making a decision like this. It's just "put it on." Wonder who the person is?

This past weekend MeTV sister station Decades had a weekend binge of the Police women
