Not sure if anyone saw the news today but after 45 long years, Linda's killer has been arrested! This case has personal meaning to me, as my brother and his partner are the lead detectives on the case and they made the arrest yesterday in Colorado. On a side note, my Dad (retired NBPD) was on duty when Linda went missing and her body was found and still remembers the call coming in over the radio.
I can't imagine what Linda's family must be feeling after almost half a century of waiting for her killer to be brought to justice. I wish this case would have been profiled on UM, it may have been solved earlier if so. In any case, excellent news and thank god for advanced DNA profiling and good detective work.
