...for spillin' a glass o' water.
This is as feisty as Beaver gets in the last three seasons.
I really like this episode, Nobody Loves Me. Connelly and Mosher slacked off writing episodes in the last few seasons, but they wrote this one. Probably from personal experience with their kids.
A lot of us guys can probably relate to being at the awkward age.

I agree, it was a poignant episode. I hated it when June and Ward are fawning over "cute" photos of the little Beaver while ignoring the real Beaver standing in front of them, and when Ward barks at Beaver to "try not to be so clumsy" at the dinner table.

Yep. All Beaver got from that was "Please don't breathe down my neck, Beaver" from June.
After Ward made the 'clumsy' comment, that's when Beaver asserted himself. Right on, Beaver!

My family always makes the joke whenever we see a car with a New Jersey license plate, "It's time to go home!" I thought that was the best part of the episode. I also liked the reunion with Miss Landers.

Agree, gsb. Also liked his reunion with Mr. Gus., but Miss Landers was better. It was sad in the sixth season episode where he might have gone to Fallbrook Prep, that the aux. F.D. was boarded up. Of course, per old times, Miss Landers had to correct him when he asked if Michael was her pet.

Speaking of how Ward and June reprimanded him at the table how about how they acted when Beaver covered his freckles with powder. They acted so weird trying to ignore the glop on his face. Hated Ward especially when Beaver said “My freckles are gone.”
Ward “Well so they are, they’re all gone well well la di da.” Wally was at least trying to act natural and called it glop on his face. Also that ridiculous scene when Beaver came to the table with the wet head and they tried to ignore it. Really lame.

Yeah, the glama spray. And when Wally broke up (who wouldn't?), he got an I'll talk to you later from Ward. Geez, give the kid a break. At some point, Ward should have said, Beaver, I'll take you down to Floyd's and get him to cut off your bangs. (right, no story...)

Yeah, that was a nice scene, in the prep school episode, where Beaver sees the fire station for the last time and looks in the window and reminisces.
That might have been their way of telling us that Beaver was too old to need a character like Gus any more, the trusted adult outside the home. We saw a couple of hints of that in season 4 in Beaver's two visits to the firehouse.
