Found this article on TVGuide.com after my mom heard somewhere about this.

TAXICAB CONFUSION: Former Cheers star Woody Harrelson was arrested after an odd taxi chase in London, according to Reuters. While riding in a cab, Harrelson allegedly broke a lock and an ashtray, then exited the vehicle and hopped into another taxi. The driver of the first cab followed Harrelson and the second cab through the streets of London, until British police stopped the vehicles and chased the actor, who had attempted to flee on foot. Harrelson was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and later freed on bail. It is undecided if he will face charges.


Is it possible to get arrested for doing that?? :confused:

He's been arrested several times, mainly for participating in protests. He was arrested in Kentucky for planting hemp seeds once!!! :lol:

Woody Harrelson and Woody Boyd are the exact opposites of one another. I guess he feels the need to be a rebel. I read somewhere that while shooting Natural Born Killers, Woody got into an arguement with fellow actor the late Lawrence Tierney. Afterwards, Woody complained to director Oliver Stone and soon after Tierney was replaced by Rodney Dangerfield.

If I'm not mistaken, Woody Harrelson's dad had something to do with the JFK assasination.

his childhood probably does have a lot to do with his rebellious nature.

:eek: here's a funny thing.... he was arrested coming out of a club called 'chinawhite' which, funnily enough is underneath the Cheers Bar on Regent Street London, so the press made a whole big thing out of 'woody arrested outside cheers'!!!

Woody's father is serving life for killing a federal judge in 1979. The judge was overseeing the trial of a drug kingpin. The hit was ordered by him.
