I cant' imagine the show was going to left the air shortly after its debut. If Mrs. Garrett had returned on DS, what would have happened to Eastland and to Adelaide? Maybe she would have been sent to the school replacing Edna :lol:

I was amused, but I can't help but feel as though Adelaide would be a poor replacement for Mrs. Garrett at Eastland. Edna had been a nurse, and so understood nutrition, and also was quite a good cook. She seemed much more competent, all around, than Adelaide. And can you imagine Adelaide giving the girls good advice on dating and growing up?
