If you are friends with me on Facebook, do not mention any of this there. Most of my real life friends don't know about my loathing of today's holiday, and I am not going to make it generally known either.

No!! Valentines day is sweet!! :)Only thing is it's hard to keep on a diet with the yummy Valentine treats! I'm not so much for the chocolates but the decorated heart shaped cookies and cakes !! :happyface

But is is more of a woman's holiday than a mans!! My Hub could give a darn about it, but he always gets me flowers or something cause he knows I like it :)but he really couldn't be bothered with it I'm sure!!:D I got him a romantic card and cookies !! :heart:

I sent out little Valentine cards to my family and friends, so you don't have to have a significant other to celebrate , it can be for friends and family too!! :)

I love Valentine's Day. I make my own Valentine's Day cards to the special people in my life :)

The wife and I don't celebrate it, though we don't mind of the kids in our family want to make/give us something as they like to do for everyone.

We do however celebrate My Bloody Valentine, as my wife in the past has made me something related to the movie, and today gave me a My Bloody Valentine pin.

I'm now a single guy but I had a girlfriend for 12 years and we would celebrate Valentines Day. All that's left now are memories that I prefer to forget because I'm no longer with this woman.

When I think about it, I'm probably better off single and not be involved with anyone because of all the BS going on with people these days. If I eventually meet another woman, fine, if not I won't worry about it. Que sera sera, whatever will be will be.
