Yes, it's a 3-Wheeler. And with so many people using them to make converted 3-wheel motorcycles over the decades, I'm surprised that they haven't considered entering that market yet.

The European 1988 Volkswagen lineup, plus the Corrado (left, center), which had yet to be introduced. It mirrors the North American lineup, with two exceptions; the European lineup had the Polo coupe (in red) and the Polo hatchback (right, bottom) one size below the Golf, while the North American lineup's model one size below the Golf was the Brazilian Fox. Also, the third-generation Passat sedan and wagon (top) would not come to the U.S. and Canada until 1990.
