What I really want to see are the TV Land awards in 2008. The Facts of Life's Lost Girls were nominated that year, in the category "Favorite Character Who Went Missing"; they lost to Chuck Cunningham, but it was a worthy nomination nonetheless!
I want that video!

Wasn't Judy nominated as well? I know Chuck is the OG but atleast the others had more screen time

It's currently showing in my mother's basement. (In the voice of Vito Scotti) Come on down, and I'll show it to you.

Yes (https://www.imdb.com/event/ev0001221/2008/1/). The full list was:
Randolph Roberts, Happy Days
Molly Ringwald, Julie Anne Haddock, Felice Schachter, and Julie Piekarski, The Facts of Life
Judy Winslow, Family Matters
Tim Considine, My Three Sons

Godfather reference?

The "OG"?
Lorimar Television 02-13-2019, 07:06 PM The "OG"?
Original. After all, Chuck Cunningham syndrome is named after him.
Heenan Fan 02-14-2019, 12:16 AM Godfather reference?
No. Vito Scotti was a famous character actor known to play mostly creepy parts. He played the mad scientist on Gilligan's Island, A couple Get Smart episodes, the guy in the wheelchair that redid the Golden Girls garage, etc. He was a great actor.

What I would like to see is the video where Charlotte Rae celebrated her 90th birthday on the Hallmark Channel.
What’s the policy on politics around the FOL boards? Molly Ringwald showed up in a bit with Stephen Colbert this week that was overall pretty political (although her part was benign ) and I don’t want to just post it and start fights. So someone give the okay or not okay to post signal.

I think it's fine if you introduce with a little disclaimer just as you did: letting folks know what it is, and pointing out that she's not taking a side in anything.

Okay.....
Danger!
Warning!!
Disclaimer: Some of this may not coincide with your personal politics, but it's only three minutes long, and if you stick with it you'll get to see Molly Ringwald

RetroGuy2000 03-24-2019, 08:14 PM Nice find, Opus! That skit was funny!
Molly is pretty woke these days; I wonder how she would get along with Felice, who is an avowed conservative?

Noooo, I don't want to know that. :(

Which one?

That Felice is an avowed conservative. :(

She seems progressive on most social issues, if that helps.

Thank you, that does! I'm sorry, when I hear things like "avowed conservative", I picture those with extremist views you hear about in the news.

UGH. No, as far as I know, none of "the girls" are extremists.
'80sSitcoms 03-24-2019, 11:49 PM I hope-and-don't-think Melissa Joan Hart is extreme, but when she proclaimed to Sabrina's "aunts" she was registering republican, they flipped out on her, lol (but not in an "ending things" way or anything).

You're thinking of Blair and Sue Ann. Blair and Sue Ann are conservative. ;)
Well, season 2 Blair onward, not season 1 Blair.
Haha, but really, yes, but they're not extremist in their views or beliefs.

Blair? How so?
'80sSitcoms 03-25-2019, 12:58 AM Blair? How so?
Many hows. But for starters, does male stripper boyfriend ring a bell? ;)
RetroGuy2000 03-25-2019, 04:31 AM To be fair I think (not positive) Lisa and Julie Pie are conservative
Yes, but I think both Lisa and Julie Pie are also socially progressive. At least, that's how I've taken their interviews. Certainly Lisa's very candid interview with the barefoot guy spoke volumes.
I've read that Nancy is very religious. Same with Kim, who refers to God often.
Felice has a strong Libertarian bent, I believe.
Mindy seems very progressive, but probably not more than Molly.
We know so little about Julie Anne, other than in 2006, she was singing in her church. I wish we knew more.
