A question I've always had , Does EVERYTHING that has EVER been put on the internet always still exist there in some form or another, even if it can no longer be located and seems long gone?

For e.g. back when I was about 15 years old ~in 1996 ~ when we first got the internet I remember my dad created a little web site about our family ~that was something HUGE to us back then lol ~ But of course over time, as time went on and as the internet grew, we never visited nor updated that website anymore, and it was pretty much just abandoned.....SO.... does that website STILL exist, somewhere out there in cyber land Does it still occupy space on the web?

If you can remember the website you're talking about, you can go to this site linked below and type in the website, maybe it got archived by someone there.

I don't know about the internet, but I do know that everything you put in your yearbook stays there forever.

Thanks for the replies, sorry so long to get back, but no sorry, I have no idea what the URL nor website was. Though I DO remember a few phrases that were included, I have typed those into search engines in quotes but it doesn't find anything.

My question is, would that site still occupy SOME sort of space on the web, along with everything that has ever been put on the web in some form or another. Can anything put on the web ever be totally gone?
