What a great surprise to see this on my DVR yesterday morning. Not a big fan of Logo but I’ll take it. Looks like it’s on in the early AM.

Do you know if it's replacing anything?

The Logo versions are cutting songs that were intact when the shows were rerun in the late 1980's. For instance, in the episode "Up On The Roof," the building is on fire; Sonny sings "On top of old smokey..." then an angry Cassie puts her hand over Sonny's mouth and mutters,"Play something else..." Cassie runs off quickly, and Sonny sings, "Come on baby, light my fire...," a line from the Doors song. In the Logo version, Cassie puts her hand over Sonny's mouth- and before Cassie can say anything, it jumps to the next scene.

I would never trust a Viacom owned channel like Logo with rebroadcasts of old sitcoms. Viacom has become notorious (https://deadline.com/2018/09/wall-street-analyst-rips-viacom-for-packing-shows-with-ads-as-ratings-ebb-1202467373/) for packing in an excessive amount of ads.

I've seen several episodes where Sonny is singing "I Write The Songs". Is LOGO cutting only certain songs due to licensing issues?
