I know there was a thread on this a long time ago...i searched for it and was unable to find it so I started this one because I want to praise an actor.

I just watched the Jim Meade jr. episode. He was the man severly injured in vietnam (so severly injured he couldn't walk or talk). He had to re-learn EVERYTHING from scratch. He was looking for the army nurse that had helped rehabilitate him.

The young man that played Jim going through the rehab etc...was AMAZING! He did such a great job. It kind of reminded me of Tom Cruise in "Born on the Fourth of July."

I don't know if they guy ever went on to do more acting but he was incredible in this episode.

Barbra Piotrowski by far is one of the best. The actress playing her is sympathetic and powerful in her performance.

I would also reccomend Agatha Christie's segment because the actress playing her was good as well

The Agatha Christie segment also has Jack Wild (famous child actor) from Hr Pufnstuf.

tony Alamo's actor gets my vote. He made me hate the real tony Alamo that much more...as if that were possible. but with a show that had a lot of bad people, this one stands out the most to me.

I think Huey Long segment had a great actor (for that manner the whole segment had good actors).

I think maybe Wishful Dreamer??... mentioned the actor in the IH 70 Killer segment when the killer let him leave. that might be the most tense moment in the show if I go back to the first time I watched it. and the actor (that played the eye witness) was perfect.

I concur on the Huey Long segment. The actor really captured his presence.

true. I love the actors in the Audrey Moate Segment as well...left that one off. someone mentioned in another thread that there is one actor that comes in both segments?

All the woman involved in the May 2, 1990 Boston Strip Mall rapist segment were excellent—especially the first actress who had tears streaming down her face. Their look of fear was so authentic.

So very sad they never caught that guy. I wonder about these victims nowadays.

I think I've mentioned them in another thread before but these two really stood out to me:

1) The children in the Eva Shoen segment, especially the little boy. Their crying when telling the story to their father about finding their mother dead was so sad.

2) The dad of Judi Davis, when he had to carry her up the stairs because of her polio. When she looked defeated that she needed his help, his reaction was heartbreaking. "It's okay, honey."

I might have! I think the look on his face when he walks back to the car is exactly what mine would have been in that situation.

Definitely the trashy swamp couple in the Audrey Moate segment. The casting director should be given awards for getting them. This was the first segment I immediately thought of when I read the thread title.

Fully agree with this. The dude who played the rapist was good too. Terrifyingly calm! “Just do what I tell you and we’re all gonna have a nice Christmas.”

The actor that played Rudolf Hess also did a fantastic job. Actually, everyone in that segment was pretty damn good.

Georgia Rudolph.

Especially when her fictional reincarnated boyfriend rocked up on her coat tails.

The actress playing Colleen Ritter in Richard's Rampage gave a really good performance. When she's stabbed and runs out in the street and collapses, and then a neighbor comes to see if she's ok, her reaction seemed really believable and authentic to me.

Yes! The girl that played Colleen was terrific. On the other hand, the guy that played Church was really bad IMO. “I’m really sorry if I inconvenienced you.”

That's always been my exact opinion. I've seen actresses in horror movies give pathetic at best reactions to attack scenes. The actress who played Colleen screamed like you would expect if someone were chasing you down your driveway with a knife.

The woman who portrayed Tami Carroll. That panic and hysterical crying when her infant son Logan died made it very realistic and heartbreaking.

A shout out to the woman who played the homeowner in the Edward Bell segment (remembered for Matthew McConaughey), who does an exceptionally realistic depiction of shock and panic when Bell shows up at her dresser while she's brushing her hair and then manages a mighty long series of screams while she first flees Bell and then grabs a gun an fires at him. I stand to be corrected, but apparently she wasn't even a professional actor, just one of the studio crew roped in at the last moment.

The man who played Carl Weiss (Huey Long's alleged assassin) in the Huey Long segment I thought also did a great job.
