Just a heads up that the DECADES network is doing a weekend binge of the show two weekends from now. I saw a commercial on it this weekend.

Any lost girl eps?

Oh Lorsie, you and your one-track mind! ("Those girls are down there running at the track at 6 a.m.!" [ha!])

But yeah, I too am curious what the episodes are. Is it a condensed version of the first 4 seasons, is it just the later seasons, is it a sprinkling from beginning to end? Interesting.

Yes. The marathon is next weekend on Sunday the 10th. It's seasons 7 and 8 on one day. The Little Chill will be included in the marathon. The dates Impressions provided, 16th and 17th, is a two day marathon of Diff'rent Strokes. There are Mrs. Garrett episodes included if anyone wants to see the schedule (https://www.decades.com/schedule) for that marathon. On a different note, I had no idea this network aired Dark Shadows. Fortunately I own the whole series on DVD and don't need syndication to see it, but it's cool that show has a variety of options to gain new fans. I wish The Facts of Life had more options for new people to see the show. Hulu or Amazon needs to add this for customers to see. Netflix is too overrated and cares about newer stuff so I don't think that would be a good option.

Nice! Glad TLC will be on.

Thanks Christopher for the corrections. I couldn't find anything on it more than the commercial but now the full schedule is available here: https://www.decades.com/binge

It looks like they're doing seasons 6-8 on next Sunday only!

Hope to not mislead anyone but it won't let me change the title of the thread. I know in year's past it would let me, but the forum software must've updated it to the point that it can't be changed. Sorry for any confusion!

You could change it recently. If you go to "Edit", then "Go Advanced", it looks like it'll still let you change the title. :)

Does Decades do anything like Nick at Nite used to do, with funny bumpers and such? Like "The Blair Tootie Project" or the bumper where they implied Mrs. Garrett had done away with the Lost Girls?

Remember that one where they showed an excerpt from Dina Becker's kitchen? N@N was talking about some sort of formula or recipe or something, and they showed the clip of Blair going, "That's tuna, mayonnaise, and something crunchy---name something crunchy." But that's the only part of that bumper I remember!

Ah, thanks for the reminder! I only partially remember that one.

I wish I had recorded all those bumpers... I can barely even remember "...but no Molly Ringwald."

Haha, me too...I wonder if back then she was like, "Gee, thanks for rubbing it in, guys " lol.

I remember the Blair/Tootie Project ones with Lisa Whelchel spoofing the scared girl in the toboggan with the video camera up close in the dark, and the animated skate rolling over with creepy squeaky wheels to the center of the screen for the logo. pumpkin:

At the time, I think she was living in France. But if she saw them, I can see that being her reaction.

Yeah, that was by far the most memorable one (and I seem to recall there were many variations). Lisa was such a good sport!

Sadly, no. DECADES does not really have a sense of humor. I have not seen only funny commercial advertising their shows, like it’s competitors do. It’s a shame...missed opportunities!

Those Blair/Tootie Project promos I remember vaguely, it’s be awesome if someone dig them up!

I'm a cord cutter so Decades is one of my favorite channels. About 3 months ago my local Decades channel became some stupid, sexist garbage station that only shows late 1990's-2000's female dramas. So no more Decades for me.

Hmmm, was it maybe something like:

"No Cindy, Sue Ann, or Nancy---and no Molly Ringwald."

I dunno, maybe something like that?

Or maybe something like: "With Blair, Natalie, Tootie, and Jo---but no Molly Ringwald."

I'm pretty sure it was the latter. I don't remember if Cindy, Sue Ann, or Nancy were even mentioned by name, even though one of the clips had Sue Ann's "rest of your life in the basement" line. I know they poked fun at Molly disappearing, and at the end, they said ...but no Molly Ringwald."

It would seem as though Season Ten became quite repetitive.

Nah, by Season Ten, the writers had grown lazy, and the focus of the show had shifted to Victoria, the girls' new exchange student from Eastland's sister school in South Africa; Elizabeth, a friend Natalie had made in SoHo; and Al, Beverly Ann's artificial intelligence replacement from the 23rd Century.

Ratings quickly plummeted, and the abbreviated Tenth Season would be the show's last. The episodes were so reviled by FOL fandom that they rarely shown in syndication... until now!

Yeah, after the ten-part "rippling" storyline, I think everyone was ready to call it quits, even Warren Littlefield, who had originally insisted on the changes. There are only so many storylines that can be generated from a love triangle between two characters and a cyborg from the 23rd Century. Littlefield admitted, "There were just too many cyborgs."
