I always find these small budget re-enactment things kind of cheesy. (Did you notice at the end her “son” got way older but “Mackenzie” hadn’t seemed to age).

They kept Dad the evil villain of the story (accurately) and yeah, they actually filmed the sex stuff instead of just talking about them.

I do somewhat debate their statement she was fired 3 times from ODAAT

A lot of the incidents were read straight from her book (“In her autobiography Mackenzie says......”), so we didn’t necessarily get opposing viewpoints.

And Mackenzie Phillips calls Michael Lembeck “Lem” :). And the show gave him the last word :wave:

She apparently had no problems with doing Triuh Behind The Sitcoms where she spilled a lot of personal behind the scenes stuff including Bonnie Franklin being a pitbull on the set tearing up scripts and her failing urine tests. But Reelz was too much for her delicate nature.

I love Mack but come on. She should have expected this network to eventually cover the story.They live for these scandals!

She should've been involved with all of this if she chose to participate.

I knew the audiences at current movies seemed more classy nowadays for some reason....

Wow , funny you should post that!! :eek:Today I drove by the high school that the opening scenes of Room 222 was filmed ! :)I usually don't go this route but today going from the one lady to the other lady I work for the street I usually take had really ridiculously heavy traffic, so I took Olympic Blvd. and drove past Walt Whitman ( real name, Los Angeles high). But the original school from Room 222 was demolished, this is a new building . It was a really old school and it suffered really bad earthquake damage during one of our big quakes and had to be demolished and rebuilt !! But it's in the exact same location!! ;)

Besides throwing a skeleton , he was a bad boy in Gorp, a horny boy in Boys in company C and a mentally distraught man holding a gun in his apt.waiting for his cheating wife to come home so he could kill her!! Remember that? The one with The two from Eight is enough? The show was " Tales from the darkside" ! :)

So Michael played some characters that weren't saintly and angelic but in real life from all we know he is as good and wholesome as Buttermilk pancakes!! :D:love:

And the actress was actually prettier than Mack was !,;)

Yeah, maybe not prettier than a very young early ODAAT Season Mack. What I guess I mean is the actress didn't really look wrecked or too skinny, they could have found someone to play her that would have really made her look like a mess!:eek: This actress looked kinda too healthy to play her in her really bad druggy years!! ;)

They're good movies! I was surprised, I honestly didn't think The Lego Movie would be good but then I watched it and was very pleasantly surprised! It's very good, and so is the sequel! The sequel has an excellent soundtrack!;) Very catchy and funny, too! :)

6- A very rich uncle had died and left him a large sum of money

7- Invested a good share of the money in the stock market

8- Did VERY well in the stock market and became a VERY rich man

9- Left NY and went back to Cabot Cove to show all the people that poor Arnie Wakeman had something on the ball and wasn't that poor kid from the wrong side of town with the holes in his jeans anymore

And both he and Spanky, I really do feel they had Mack's best interest at heart , truly love her and NEVER in a million years meant for this program to upset or hurt her in any way !;) Both of them really looked like they were about to cry when they were describing what went on :(and I TRULY think neither of them would have done this show had they known Mack would be upset!:confused: Neither Lem or Spanky seem to have any form of a malicious nature in their character and only had Mack in their heart and were totally in her corner throughout all her issues!!;):heart:

Huh. Usually about 99% of the time Svengoolie's edits are not that jarring, but it was painfully obvious that something was missing. Sounds like it was sort of a minor scene that must not have been very long and that's why he trimmed it.

And, yeah, I did think it was funny!! At first with the photo album I was thinking about how Carol was an artist and cutting out those pictures with that much precision could've only been done by an artist. And then I thought the girls doing the jump rope chant must've been orchestrated by Carol!:wave: all the pieces just sort of came together for me!

I think it wasn't very professional , after all she was really at her job, even if it was her reunion. Isn't there a rule not to get "too cozy" with male passengers even if you already know them? But still I think Julie should have been able to sense that Joey and Sherry were in a relationship !;) Poor Sherry !!! If I was her I'd probably would have slapped him in the face and kicked her a** when I saw them kissing! And Joey having the nerve to say she was spying on him!!! :eek::

I am interested in that one!! Also House of Wax, a true Vincent Price classic! And, to answer your question, I got to see part of the Love Boat last week but not enough to see Michael. My Mom is not a fan of the Love Boat and wanted to watch something else instead. I'll watch part 2 this week! You should watch the Black Cat;) It's very quirky and bizarre but fun!!
