When asked by Deadline if there have been conversastions about another Big Bang spinoff could join Young Sheldon, CBS Entertainment president Kelly Kahl responded: "Nothing formal. The ball is in squarely in their court (https://deadline.com/2019/01/cbs-boss-big-bang-end-spinoff-murphy-brown-mom-macgyver-renewal-company-climate-tca-1202546232/). If they want to talk to us about it, we are here to listen." James28 04-17-2019, 02:24 PM If a second spinoff of The Big Bang Theory were launched, it should involve Howard and Bernadette. Bernadette was the reason I got into TBBT in the first place, and we don't need to be losing that character just because the guy who portrays Sheldon decided not to continue.

Duster76 04-20-2019, 09:52 PM I'm surprised to see this, the show has pretty much run its course. I think a show centered around Howard and Bernadette wouldn't be strong enough to make a go of it. To me Kevin Sussman's Stuart had the potential to be a breakout character. He's funny looking, he delivers lines in a funny way, he's a real scene stealer. That said, trying to move this type of character into a lead position usually fails. This is wild speculation on my part, but I wonder if they have considered a series relaunch. A new cast, about 10 or so years younger and start the series over (updated storylines to match this generation of characters).
Jules81 04-21-2019, 01:36 PM I would love to see a spin off besides Young Sheldon, maybe with Penny?

Without Leonard? forget get, too risky to the franchise.
At this point I don’t think I’d be interested in a spinoff involving any of the characters. This last season is predictable and dull. The male characters are caving in to the wives all the time. The only way to keep a spinoff interesting is if there’s marital discord among one of the couples. The men need to be more assertive.

Once they coupled Sheldon, Leonard and Penny, and Howard (and now even Raj and Stuart) the subjects the series could explore became limited and you're right, dull. That's why I think a relaunch with different actors about a decade or so younger might be the way to go. The best years were the first 5 seasons, the sixth season was a stand alone, some good, some bad, after that Big Bang really became much tamer.
The Big Bang Theory co-creator Chuck Lorre confirms a second spinoff was discussed, but ultimately scrapped (https://tvline.com/2019/01/31/the-big-bang-theory-second-spinoff-cbs/)
“Unless there was a creative reason to do it — a wonderfully, wonderfully creative reason to do it — than the only reason (to do it) is economics, and that’s not good enough,” Lorre tells TVLine.

Any of those actors, especially as a couple would demand very high pay with the potential that it would only retain part of TBBT audience. Kind of like Mayberry RFD after Andy left, although with less viewing choices back then RFD did fine. Don't think it would happen today. More apt would be the "Joey" series after "friends" went off.
They'd need all new writers and situations also because this season has been a drawn out bore to get to the last 3 episodes.
Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki don't see themselves starring in a Big Bang Theory spinoff (https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/big-bang-theory-series-finale-could-be-a-leonard-penny-spinoff-1211635)
The CBS sitcom's series finale offered a natural idea for a Leonard and Penny spinoff. But when asked if they want to reprise their characters, Galecki said "No," telling The Hollywood Reporter: "I don't want to be too definitive, but then I was in my weird way. I feel like these seven characters share seven different areas of the same brain. We have split them off in every single different division you can and it all works. There's no two that don't work together. I don't think it would be a disaster, but it wouldn't be Big Bang." Cuoco added: "Uhhh, no! But if Chuck (Lorre) asked me I would highly consider it because I don't say no to Chuck! … I think they're going to be awesome parents. They waited so many years and they're so fun and easygoing. Or Penny is really kind of easygoing! I think they'd be adorable parents. I can only imagine."
