Just to let everyone know, Laff is making some schedule changes starting on February 2 which is Saturday.
Returning is A Different World.
Shows gone from the weekend lineup:
Cybill
Spin City
3rd Rock From The Sun
3rd Rock From The Sun will still be on weekdays, just not on the weekends anymore. The same is happening with Spin City.
Cybill though is definitely gone from the schedule.

I didn't look that far yet, but will make sure to post those changes once it comes closer.

You're welcome. I'm just posting the changes one at a time and not all at once because it's just easier for me to do it not all in one.
icecream 01-27-2019, 10:20 AM Night court looks to be gone to thanks to according to jim and 3rd rock from the sun being on the line up in februaryNight Court will still air in February but is gone in March.
icecream 01-27-2019, 10:23 AM I like According to Jim more than some here but starting with 4 hours a day is overkill. Night Court being totally removed in March is a shame, it should air 11PM-1AM following the Home Improvement primetime block. But with being totally gone now the Night Court contract might expire at the end of February. :(
It looks like there is another new show called World's Funniest Videos: Top 10 that is coming as well.
Night Court on the other hand looks to be still airing in February, but it's getting removed after March 1.
Night Court will still air in February but is gone in March.
Shame to see that go because it’s been on the lineup ever since the very beginning.

It's alright, but I’m sad about it too.
The rights for the show just simply probably expired, and Laff did not want to renew their contract for it.
MikeLutton 01-28-2019, 01:47 PM oh well i got all 9 dvds of night court to enjoy anytime i want.
I wonder if Roseanne will ever return to the Laff lineup again, because it returned to CMT along with TV Land.
They were able to do it for A Different World.

And that's what is great about DVD's. If a show ever gets removed from the lineup, then you can watch them as much as you want over and over again.

They were able to do it for A Different World.I haven't missed Roseanne at all. Home Improvement is a big upgrade for the best timeslots (9-11PM) LAFF has. Now if only they would replace That 70s Show with something good, at least in the 7-9PM hours.
mikey0581 01-29-2019, 07:37 PM I predicted that Night Court would be gone, just didn't think it would be this soon. sorry all. Maybe Pluto TV can add it.
mikey0581 01-29-2019, 07:40 PM Schedules on channels are getting worst and worst, 2 shows a row is plenty , not 2 hour blocks over even 3 hour blocks, VARIETY is the key word, they could get more shows then the schedule they do have.

I can see it being added because some of the other Laff shows are on there too. Had a feeling as well that a show would get removed at some point and a show that has been there for a long time just so happens to be the show that is getting pulled.

I agree, but was just curious about it.
Maybe According To Jim should go in the 7-9 PM timeslot instead.
DeadlyToolTime 01-30-2019, 02:24 PM Night Court wasn't with Laff since the beginning. Laff didn't start airing Night Court until late 2015/early 2016.

Oh my bad then. Did not even know.

I just wish they added Ellen and Empty Nest, I miss those shows.

They were just on a couple months back, but got removed due to the rights expiring.
Just as a heads up:
There will be some more moving around of the schedule soon due to the addition of According To Jim.
According To Jim is coming March 4:

I posted the Laff schedule changes for March already.
Svenfan1234 02-06-2019, 06:52 PM There's way too little variety in Laff's current schedule. I watched mostly for Empty Nest and Night Court, but I also watched Ellen, Home Improvement, That 70s Show and Roseanne every now and then. I wish they'd bring Ellen, Empty Nest, Night Court and Roseanne back. I've never seen According to Jim but I wish they'd add shows like Blossom instead.

Same. The rights probably expired for Night Court and the contract was going to expire anyway, so that's why it's being taken off the air.
icecream 02-06-2019, 08:19 PM Yes, Blossom would be an excellent addition to LAFF. They could also pick up Boy Meets World, BMW hasn't aired on any broadcast network in a long time. Night Court contract may have expired but it should have been renewed, only thing better than it on the March schedule is Home Improvement. This weekday schedule would be an improvement.
5-6AM World's Funniest Videos- dumb pickup
6-7AM Grounded for Life
7-9AM Movie
9-10AM A Different World
10-11AM Home Improvement
11AM-12PM Grace Under Fire
12-2PM The Drew Carey Show
2-4PM 3rd Rock from the Sun
4-5PM Blossom- thought about giving it 2 hours but it doesn't have enough episodes
5-7PM Boy Meets World
7-9PM According to Jim- would still get good slots but does not need 4 hours a day.
9-11PM Home Improvement
11PM-1AM Night Court
1-3AM Spin City
3-5AM That 70s Show

I would have to agree with you on that for World's Funniest Videos. Why is it even showing anyway? Such a missed opportunity for either Empty Nest or Ellen to come back.

I'd like to see either. Blossom should be from 7-9PM. Since they're removing Night Court, and it's from WB, they'll likely remove The Drew Carey Show as well. Laff has so little variety it's unbelievable. Good shows but too much of them. Also Empty Nest should return.
My schedule:
5-6AM World's Funniest Videos
6-7AM Grounded for Life
7-9AM Movie
9-11AM According to Jim
11-1PM Drew Carey
1-3PM That 70s Show
3-5PM 3rd Rock from the Sun
5-7PM Blossom
7-9PM Home Impovement
9-11PM Empty Nest
11-1AM Boy Meets World
1-3AM Spin City
3-5AM A Different World
I would take World's Funniest Videos out and put either Empty Nest or Ellen back in.
