I watched a Season 1 episode on DVD and just a few days later, today, a Season 8 episode on Logo TV.

In the season 1 episode, Carmine was rough and macho, but looked more blue collar.

By season 8, he was athletic but was singing and dancing like a John Travolta (although not disco).

Was there a transformation with Carmine and did it happen slowly? Or was there a certain season, that it was very noticeable.
