"I was so nervous... I mean it's so hard to do these. Sitcoms are so hard to do.

I mean they say 'There's an audience, it's just like theater' and it's not even close to theater. I mean in a theater sometimes they listen and sometimes they don't, but this was a show that people were really involved with. Back then there was something like 40 million people watching. It's not like television viewing today.

Still today, I mean this role must have been four days work in my life, I have people from all over the world come up to me and go, 'Ah, Friends.' It's unbelievable."

He was Phoebe's gay husband, Duncan, in the 2nd season episode 'The One with Phoebe's Husband'.
