Amen to this. Shipping is the reason why I've never purchased any of my DVDs from the WB website. In my opinion, if there has to be a shipping charge, it shouldn't be anymore than three dollars.

Just ordered Season 4. WBshop is having a sale.....14% off all items.

There’s no way I’ll be able to buy this now. Maybe in a few months. I’m trying to save up money to make it on my own until I can work full time because caring for dad is getting too much for my nerves to handle. As of now, I’m planning on May 2020 being my month of independence.

How much did you pay if you don't mind my asking? Last night I ordered what ended up being the last copy available still at the Wal-Mart website and it was $28.89 tax included. The shipping was free because I had it be sent to the store.

When someone gets it please let us know if the episodes all usecthecfull intro. Episodes 1 and 2 use a longer intro then the rest of the season.

It came out to $25 and change but ended up at $30 with the shipping but I always get the DVD on demand from WBshop. They have the pressed DVDs and not the DVD-R ones that Amazon and others sell.

I bought season 1&2 together, then season 3&4 together. I'll do 5&6 and then 7 on its own. I have a cousin in America where I get them posted to and then she sends them on to me. I normally always buy dvds etc when in the sales but to get pressed disks I am paying full price but full price is still cheaper than if the show would have been released on vhs. That is may way of thinking to make paying out for the show more reasonable to me.

Anyway, does anyone know whether Sitcoms on Line has stopped reviewing dvd sets altogether? None of the SbS seasons have been reviewed. Do they not do MOD releases.

Good question. I’ve wondered that myself. It seems as though they have given up on reviewing sets.

The last DVD that was even reviewed was in 2017, and nothing since then.

Ordered it today from WB Shop. Should get it in a few days.

Got my copy today in the mail! 4 down, 3 to go...

My season 3 and 4 sets arrived today. They get sent to a cousin who then sends them on to me in Great Britain. It is the only way I can get pressed disks.

I have yet to watch my season 1 and 2 sets as I am waiting to have the whole thing so I can watch it from start to finish in one go. i also have a massive pile of other dvds that i am working through.

Anyway, not sure if it has been mentioned but the episodes on the first disk of season 4 are presented 4:3 rather than 4:3 pillarboxed within a 16:9 frame.

Also, I noticed that there are bumpers between the last act and the closing credits with the cast inviting viewers to stay tuned. I am glad they were included on these dvds.

Episodes one and two of season four both have an opening credit sequence that is 90 seconds long. Episode three and another I checked at random feature one that lasts about 65 seconds.

LOL I dont really have days off. I’m a 24/7 caregiver for my dad and in the summertime I also have to do outdoor work. I also clean cabins for a rental company on Sundays while my aunt stays with my dad.

Really? I wonder if they released the HD versions. I know season 4 changed the font from seasons 1-3

Do HD versions exist? I still believe the show was recorded on film and edited on tape the way Dallas and Dynasty were for their final seasons. Knots Landing too. But, in the examples I have given, the font has changed. Mind, if they did go back to the original negs to make HD copies then they may have had to recreate the onscreen credits from scratch too and may have goofed a few times. If they did remaster it in HD then it is strange they didn't make the episodes widescreen as a lot of folk do not like shows that do not fill their tv screens and studios/networks believe it harms sales/number of viewers.

Wonder what has happened with this series. They were doing so well with releases then all of the sudden they just stopped. Hoping they get season 5 out soon.

So you never know maybe it will be released at some point! I really hope so, I'm in the UK so can't watch them on Hulu or Amazon prime.

Woohoo! Also in the UK. I really want the final 3 seasons as well. I only ever saw seasons 1-2 on CENTRAL. I now have seasons 1-4 on dvd and I am hoping to get all 7 so I can watch it from the start.

Yes I remember watching the first two seasons on ITV Granada! I can't see why they won't release the rest on DVD, it'd be weird when they've already released more than half of them. It's frustrating that they're not available on the uk version of i-tunes or Amazon.

I am now 4 episodes into season 4 using the production order suggested on Wiki. Not sure how accurate it is as the episode where Carol, Frank and Dayna find out about the baby is not mentioned in the next episode produced at all.

Anyway, enjoying it so far. The 3 youngest kids really feel like they have shot up in height between seasons. Cody looks like he almost has a mullett. Not keen myself.

Al looks like she is losing her tomboy looks though I guess the attitute will stay. Makes me think of tomboy Darlene on Roseanne who turned sort of gothic but that was a real turning point for the character and they kept it. Part of me wonders whether the actress playing Al wanted a more 'girly' look.

I love how all of the DVD pictures are at the top of each page here now. Season six is of course my most favorite shot.
