I just bought The White Stripes` new cd. Its really good. Does anybody else like them?

I don't own their CD. I've heard most of their songs though. I guess they're ok but I don't rate them highly.

Man, I bought that album being really excited about what I was about to hear was going to blow me away. But jeez, it really sucked. Then I reviewed it for my school newspaper, and I just ripped it apart. I think I actually left it at school.
Honestly, I was thinking of throwing it out of a moving vehicle.

I've been a big fan of their music since they first album came out in 99. I mentioned them a couple of times when someone posted list your favorite albums. I got all three of their cds and some singles on vinyl. I just didn't like the fact that they went on the movie awards. They've been indie for so long and I just liked it better when people would say the White who? I also like them playing in smaller venues, it's just more intimate. But now they're getting famous, and probably selling more records. More power to them, they want to hit main stream and that's fine. I just hope they never go on mtv again. If they ever go on TRL, I SWEAR to god I won't like them anymore but, they're not that type of band, so I think it's highly unlikely they will ever go that far.

As for their performance on the awards, it rocked but, those teenieboppers dancing really pissed me off. It looked like some d*** gap comercial and Eminem fans posing as WS fans. I hate posers. A million bucks that was Mtv's idea.
