Same here! Except we're the Montrose Indians. We have to change our name because they say it's offensive to Native Americans, but I dunno what thy'll change it to. The teachers all loved me, but the way they spent government money on the school was absolutely ridiculous! Rather than buy new books and computers for us to learn with, they remodeled the school so it would look like the newer schools in the district. They spent $5,000 for arches with the school logo on it. Would post a picture of the "seal" or whatever you wanna call it but it's got my town name and for those who don't know my town name, let's keep it that way. I heard about it everyday (ugh) N E way my school mascot is a lumberjack & our colors are orange & black. |
