When you're frightened, do you tend to cry, laugh, panic, or stay paranoid for the rest of the week, lol?

When I`m get frightened I usually cry(if I`m by myself). Or if I`m watching a scary movie, I pull the covers up to my chin, cuz it feels like I`m gonna be the next victim, hehe. When watching scary movies at a sleepover, I get close to my friends, and scream and jump. I`m such a wimp when it comes to scary movies, but I love them anyway.

paranoid. you have nooo idea how much. like at night (this just happened tonight also) when i get into the car, i keep thinking someone put a bomb under the car and we're gonna explode in like a second, then i start panicking about other stuff. it's so annoying. i even worry about other people "oh, did you make that assignment up?" "no...you missed friday..." annoying...

When I'm afraid, I tend to:

1) Get nervous which leads to . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
. . . 2) being paranoid then . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
. . . . . . 3) getting panicky

When I freak out, I usually get panicky and then paranoid. And if I freak out enough, I start to hypervenelate.

It takes quite a bit to scare me but when I do get scared I usually end up getting really paranoid.
This one time my parents were away on holiday and I was in the house by myself. It was about 1 in the morning and I heard a bunch of noises outside and I was convinced that someone was trying to break into the house so I jumped outta bed, shoved some clothes on and grabbed this big metal bar that was sitting in the closet in the hall. You shoulda seen me - I was stalking round the house turning on all the lights, weilding this big chunk of metal, reading to whack anyone over the head with it!
I dunno what those noises were but there sure as hell wasn't anyone else in the house. I felt like such a twat after that

Panic. As I said in another thread, it goes like this....

Crying...leads to....hyperventilating...leads to... getting sick

When I get scared I ususally freak out and become paranoid and then I start crying. If I watch something scary late at nite and then I have to go down the hall (in the dark) to the bathroom...oh boy that's freaks me out. I know nothings there but I'm just afraid someone (or someTHING) is gonna jump out and grap me and kill me. Eventhough I know karate, that's still no comfort. lol Okay...I'm starting to scare myself.... *breathes*

I try to get over it as well. But it takes around 1 to 2 hours to get over it because I usually think things through concerning the oppressor until I'm convince I'm safe and in good hands. Another thing I sometimes do is keep my mind off it and watch tv which usually works. Thank God we have television these days!

I panic, then get paranoid. If I'm lucky, I won't stay paranoid for weeks, only hours or maybe days.

I panic which leads to paranoidness. I have 2 main fears, dead things, and spiders. I see a spider i scream and sit in the hall with a flashloight all nite, and I always think i see or hear thing at nite and get scared and start thinking im gonna die and then im paranoid for 4 weeks after that
