June really needed to get a day job to get her mind off snooping.

She snooped and found:

Beaver’s wet jeans under the sink

Wally’s wallet full of money in his sports jacket

Stolen items under the bed given to Beaver

Beaver’s diary

Now that crazy letter Wally wrote to Kitty from wastebasket

I’m surprised she didn’t pull Billy the bear out of the trash before the trash man came or find those library notices in the drawer.

Beaver only snooped in the wastebasket that time he found his picture on the company magazine.

When Wally pulled out all the letters from Kitty Banterman (or Bannerman, whichever it is) he had folded up in trousers, my first thought was, Huh, June didn't find them? Of course, to make up for it, she found the letter he threw out.

Of course, what mother wouldn't uncrumple and read all the wastepaper in her boy's trash can before she emptied it?

Any more times she snooped? I almost forgot Wally’s wallet. That was the only time her snooping helped out.

There was an early episode where Ward found something, for once. I don't remember the episode.

As for June: (these are stretches)

She found her makeup in a mess (in the freckles episode), but thought the wind had blown it.

She found the detergent box nearly empty, in the Richard's Laundry episode.

I'm surprised she didn't notice the ceiling over her sink in Beaver Takes a Bath. I'm sure it didn't dry very well. She never went snooping and found all the inserts from Beaver's Record Club. Beaver just grabbed the records and threw the enclosures into the drawer.
I wonder who finally cleaned up that bathroom when Puddin finally quite throwing stuff around. What a brat.

I think they should've had the plaster fall into her dishpan while she was working. "Ward! The house is falling into my sink!"

Let's hope they cleaned up the bathroom before Mr. Benner moved in.

Hey just realized that letter Wally wrote for Beaver in Beaver’s Hero about Ward capturing prisoners single handed during the war was found by Ward. Not June.

However I just saw in Beaver’s Birthday how June takes some clean clothes upstairs and starts snooping through Beaver’s thank you notes and finds one to Uncle Billy. That was really snooping.

Yep that was the only time we saw Ward snoop, and IIRC he just went in there for some other reason and happened to find it.

Yes, in the birthday episode she really snooped good, and interrogated Wally like Perry Mason would have. "Gee, I'm really busy with this Spanish, mom." And does she deal with Beaver after he comes in the room? Oh, no, she has to go tell Ward.

Beaver should have just stood up to her. He should have said, yeah, the money came when I was here with Gilbert and nobody else was home. It was my money and I went and bought a race car with it.
