The 2000s were generally a lousy decade for sitcoms. However, there are three that I am a big fan of and would like to see airing again: Corner Gas, Hope and Faith, and DAG. Corner Gas was a big hit in Canada but hasn't aired anywhere in the US for over a decade. Hope and Faith is possibly the last fully owned show not to benefit from the three full seasons and it is a lock for a 4th to get to syndication rule. And DAG is my favorite one season sitcom ever, but it aired just a few years before it became common for short lived shows to be put on DVD. I don't think DAG has aired anywhere since the original NBC airings. :( Since LAFF is a station that has aired or will air 2000s shows like That 70s Show, Grounded for Life, and According to Jim, and I also have this station, it sure would be nice to see my favorites on it. This would be a wonderful schedule.

Weekdays Monday-Friday
5-6AM Grounded for Life
6-8AM Cybill
8-10AM Grace Under Fire
10AM-12PM Spin City
12-2PM According to Jim
2-3PM Hope and Faith- I would like 2 hours of this on weekdays but since it only has 3 seasons I am sticking with one.
3-5PM The Drew Carey Show
5-7PM 3rd Rock from the Sun
7-9PM Corner Gas
9-11PM Home Improvement
11PM-1AM Night Court
1-3AM That 70s Show
3-5AM Movie

Saturdays
5-7AM Grounded for Life
7-10AM E/I Shows
10AM-12PM Spin City
12-1PM Grace Under Fire
1-2PM Cybill
2-5PM Home Improvement
5-7PM According to Jim
7-9PM Hope and Faith
9-11PM Corner Gas
11PM-1AM Night Court
1-3AM 3rd Rock from the Sun
3-5AM The Drew Carey Show

Sundays
5AM-1PM Movies
1-2PM Spin City
2-4PM Corner Gas
4-6PM Night Court
6-8PM 3rd Rock from the Sun
8-9PM DAG- I would definitely like this on weekdays but way too few episodes to do that. :(
9-11PM Home Improvement
11PM-12AM DAG- encore of 8PM hour
12-3AM That 70s Show
3-5AM The Drew Carey Show

I'd just like to see Empty Nest back on LAFF. I haven't watched since they took it off. All the others you could easily get on streaming or DVD, except for Drew Carey which I'm not a fan of anyway.

DAG was sadly never released on DVD, and has not aired anywhere that I know of since the original NBC airings in the 2000-2001 season. Hope and Faith season 1 was released awhile back but is probably out of print now, and I don't think seasons 2 and 3 ever came out. I have the first 3 seasons of Corner Gas on DVD but finding a good DVD player has been difficult the last few years.

Also, a problem with your schedule is LAFF works exclusively with WB, Buena Vista Television and Carsey-Werner Distribution and none of the shows you mentioned are owned by any of those three.

I wonder if LAFF's lost the rights to it, even though According to Jim & Home Improvement are both from Buena Vista Television, the distributor of Empty Nest.

I wonder if that is the reason.

Unless LAFF is owned by one or more of those three companies and those studios don't allow them to go elsewhere, I don't see why LAFF can't get other distributors as well. Same thing with Antenna TV, I don't know what their studio providers are like you would, but you have mentioned them not likely to get The Wonder Years (I think that was the show) because Antenna doesn't work with that distributor yet.

While it's possible, it's unlikely IMO because there are the core distributors they all work with: Sony, CBS, Fox, Warner Bros., Buena Vista (Disney), and Carsey-Werner. A possible reason could be that I know for a fact that the company that owns LAFF owns Bounce as well and they have worked with those distributors as well which may be a factor. Antenna could one day get The Wonder Years if they could get an agreement with 20th Fox (pretty sure that's the distributor.) The only Fox show they have is Small Wonder, so it may be possible after all.

As for possible shows on LAFF, the most likely (IMO) are Blossom, Dinosaurs, & Boy Meets World at least, all owned by Buena Vista. Maybe The Muppet Show, but that's a pretty big "if."

If we're gonna go with Buena Vista only, the only show I'd like to see is Boy Meets World.

Still would like to see NewsRadio. I know it's owned by Sony so it could go to GetTV, but with the way GetTV is right now, I'd rather see it on Laff or back on Antenna.
