My wife surprised me with this this morning. She was holding on to it for my birthday, but last night I was online looking at it on Ebay, I was going to buy it off of there, but I was just on there drooling over it. I think she was afraid I'd lose my mind and pay the high price for it from Ebay.
Plus I also kind of think, since I have today off because of the snow and she works from home, she wanted to give me something to keep me occupied like a little kid.:lol:
Either way, she rules!

Screams Of A Winter Night (1979) on Blu Ray. Low budget regional anthology horror film, what makes this release special is it includes the 4th story that was originally cut from the theatrical version to shorten run time. This is something I've been wanting to see since I first learned of it.:)

My wife and daughter gave this to me for my birthday. The Dungeon Of Andy Milligan. This set is amazing, besides the 14 films on Blu Ray. It includes a CD with music by Hal Borske, who appeared in many of Milligan's films. Plus a book about Milligan written by Stephen Thrower.

Upgraded to Blu Ray for these two Italian classics from the 80s.

(Using Gift Card) Ordered and just received this from Severin - Night Of The Demon (1980) Bigfoot horror flick. I marked out the sticker because even though it's cartoony it's a man's torn off penis.
My favorite thing included in this was the novelization. Lot's of features on the discs including a full length unreleased horror film from the 60s titled Fraternity Of Horror (produced by one of NOTD's producers)

Anyway I last got the movie BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED (1987) on VHS :)

I hadnt wanted this movie on its official VHS tape because it says 'DIGITALLY RECORDED' on the box and every movie I have seen that says this looks like crap!!

On this copy ON THE MCA TAPE ITSELF it does not say "Digitally recorded" and looks almost as good as watching it over analogue cable! (Audio sounds a little thin but the vid is def NOT DIGITALLY RECORDED thankfully!!)

If I ever find this recorded from analogue cable Ill get it as it will probably have the original analogue audio also!

I think Parts 1 and 2 are the best and they are both on VHS..

Its strange..Part 2 ends in the same bathroom Part 1 ends in...... They could have ended it right there at part 2.....

You should hear/see how good they did 1 and 2 Jimmy!

Part 1 has all kinds of RAW DIGITAL in the analogue audio and they left it all out on the VHS tapes.... Those movies were done so well its incredible!!

2) Jumping Jack Flash (1986) - Recorded from Cinemax (Analogue cable) -- Better than the official tape that most are not that good of this movie. (Original 1986,7 release)

3) Fair Game - (1995) - I have this recordded from analogue cable but this one from HBO is much better..... (Audio/Video)

This auction on ebay said "TAPE UNTESTED" but I took a chance and its perfect..... Glorious analogue gold!! (Its got the blue screen at the end with the rating of the movie)

I think this one I have is one of the very first ones released in 1979 of this movie.. (Its got a brown guard and has writing on the guard) (This side faces forward - Do not touch the tape inside))

I dunno why IMDB only has this rated 6.4 .. Its excellent!!

I would give it 9.6!!!

Picked up a sealed VHS of The Black Cauldron (1985) from Salvation Army for $1.00

I just got a movie I ordered from South Korea guys that came a week early,it said it wasnt supposed to be here until 21 May at least...

The movie is TOY SOLDIERS from 1991 and the reason I got this S Korea copy is the official US TRI-STAR/RCA-Columbia release of this movie is DIGITALLY MASTERED. I have been trying to find one that isnt!!!!!!

Not only is this one NOT DIGITALLY MASTERED,its the original analogue print!! (I see the reel change mark every 20 mins or so in the upper right)

I didnt ever think I would be able to see that!!!!!!! -- I cant believe in 1992 they still used analogue prints in S Korea for VHS stuff!!! (The release date says 1992 2 3 on the case)

Where did they get the analogue print in South Korea??? -- Its amazing that far away they could get the print!!

I was hopefull for NOT DIGITALLY MASTERED but I got even better than that....... The movie is Goregous!!!!!!

They didnt really clean it up either,you can see streaks in some spots which is nice.....

It has Korean Subtitles but they dont bother me!!

I got a VHS tape at salvation army on Friday :)
