He seemed to have an exaggerated opinion of himself, putting it mildly.

Couldn’t stand him on Match Game and really couldn’t stand him on the Feud. The kissing all women on the lips was just nasty. One older woman let him kiss on the cheek only. I used to watch Match Game back in ‘73 and couldn’t stand the pinky finger up every time he lifted his card. One time Charles Nelson Riley commented on the strange hand gesture. Audience roared.

Yeah, I was going to mention Match Game. He was insufferable on there, too.
