Guess I'd forgotten about that old-timey phone. Not sure how practical that was, but cool that they used it. How'd they call anyone using Klondike numbers? Did they have to dial the operator for connections? (Funny story: up until the mid-1980s in my town, you could still just dial five numbers when making a local call!)

Ah. Well, you guys have been only friends the last few weeks, so I've been very sensitive to behavior around here, lol. I've gotten no social life recently because I work two jobs, and my main job, I don't get paid holidays until after I've been there a year, so I've had to (with their blessing) work all these extra hours to get my regular pay; had to make up 24 hours for Christmas, and 16 for New Year's. So that has not been fun. Therefore, since I have access to here at my main job, I have been "socializing vicariously" through here as my only "fun" outlet for the last few weeks!

Oh wow Sitcommania, good eye! Indeed, here it is! Maybe it was Tootie's lamp! Tootie's family could have known the Evanses via relations or friends and visited them, and maybe they gave the Ramseys the lamp, and Harrison & Diane gave it to Tootie to take with her to Eastland, and then Tootie gave it to Mrs. Garrett after both of their "co-first year" at Eastland! :)
