Anybody remember this Steve Harvey sitcom from 94/95?

It’s the only thing Harvey has done that I actually enjoy; too bad it only lasted 19 episodes.

I loved that show and hate you cannot find it anywhere in syndication. I am surprised TVOne never aired it nor BET. Both networks have reran one season wonders but this one never got broadcasted again.

Ratings did not do this show in, it came in 19th place for the season which should have warranted an immediate renewal but ABC was changing focus and wanted to cut back on kid friendly shows to go after more adult viewers. Had a series on TGIF got cancelled, Me and the Boys would have moved to Friday nights per the LA Times article in 1995.

Me And The Boys was indeed the debut sitcom for then unknown Steve Harvey and i'm surprised that few Steve Harvey fans remember this show and I think Me And The Boys could've lasted longer than 19 episodes had ABC promoted it right but after it got cancelled Me And The Boys was a stepping stone for Steve Harvey that would make him a huge superstar comedian and talk show host and game show celebrity

That 8pm to 9pm slot on Tuesday Night needed to be revamped because both Full House and Me and the Boys were struggling to grab Viewers. Both shows were cancelled
