If someone could tell me what Granny's Daughter's name was, the woman who left Jed widowed, that would be incredibly helpful. Extremely urgent that I find this out with all possible speed.

I recall at least one ep (have no idea which) where Jed and Granny were talking about how Jed happend to propose to his wife, and I think her name was "Rose" or some variation like Rosalyn. [And Jed said they were in a carriage together and the horse stopped right under a certain tree, which made him think it was the right moment... Granny said she and her daughter had spent 6 months training that horse to always stop under that tree.]

it was ROSE ELLEN. Granny mentioned it once in an early episode.
