I was on UP's website a few days ago, and noticed that there may be some changes for next year.

Here's what I noticed:

The Bernie Mac Show - Looks like this is scheduled for January 2 at 12 PM, 12:30 PM, and 1:00 PM. Do not see any other times listed so far.

What I do not see on the schedule:

7th Heaven

Could this mean that 7th Heaven will be permanently gone from the schedule after New Year's Day?

Fresh Off The Boat is showing times of 10:00 AM and 10:30 AM for January 2 along with a 10 AM time for January 3.

Schedule for New Year's Day, according to Up's website:

12 AM to 2:30 AM - Whose Line

7 AM: Heartland

8 AM to 10 AM: AFV

10 AM: Whose Line

10:15 AM to 4 PM: AFV

4:00 PM: Whose Line

However, when I go on TV Passport, it gives me something different.

According to a tweet by Dean Devlin, he said that it's a holiday tradition of playing all three of the movies on New Year's Day.

January 2 is probably just a launch marathon for Bernie Mac (lousy pickup). No way would it air that much every day. 7th Heaven I could see being removed but I don't think Gilmore Girls is going anywhere. We will have to see what January 3 looks like for the new schedule.

Why Bernie Mac though? It’s on other channels, and doesn’t need to be on in my opinion.

How about bringing an old show back that used to be on there?

There will probably be a different marathon on January 4 with them closing out the New Year's week, since they already have AFV marathon Monday, Librarian movie marathon Tuesday, Bernie Mac launch marathon Wednesday, and Home Improvement marathon Thursday. New weekday schedule likely will start the next week on January 7.

I agree with you on your schedule. Maybe weekends can be just movies only and the shows on weekdays.

And it looks like 7th Heaven is indeed no longer on the schedule anymore.

Looks like there's been some more changes to the schedule already.

Fresh Off The Boat's time got moved from 8 and 8:30 AM to 9 and 9:30 AM.

AFV is back on weekends again. No more weekday airings.

Returning to the schedule is Supernanny, which is replacing the 8 along with the 8:30 AM showing of Fresh Off The Boat.

And the BIG change is that The Bernie Mac Show is now permanently off the lineup, it has been replaced by even more Home Improvement along with Whose Line Is It Anyway in both the morning along with the night slots.

Bernie Mac's show must have really flopped bad in both the morning and primetime ratings.

And here's something:

There is going to be a new show called Design Twins which starts Thursday, February 14 at 8 PM ET with an encore presentation at 10 PM. Gilmore Girls will be gone from the timeslot on that day along with the 21 which also happens to be a Thursday as well.

Such a missed opportunity for 7th Heaven to return to the schedule, and wish that Supernanny would be put on weekends instead of weekdays.

But do agree. The show returned to the schedule though because of viewers/fan demand.

Excellent news, UP will be airing a Touched by an Angel marathon on Super Bowl Sunday (February 3) from 9AM-11PM. Hopefully this is a sign they are changing their weekday schedule the next day and bringing TBAA back.

It was probably just a mistake, but it could change again. Probably not though.

Supernanny turned out to be short lived on the channel, because that is now off the schedule again.
