"The Big Bang Theory" Sets Lindsey Kraft in Recurring Role

"The Big Bang Theory" is adding a new face to its 12th and final season. Lindsey Kraft will appear in a recurring role on the long-running CBS sitcom.

Kraft will play Marissa, the new bride of Penny’s ex-husband Zack, a role reprised by Brian Thomas Smith. Kraft will first appear on Jan. 10 episode and return for multiple episodes.

The semi-spoilery logline for the episode states: “Zack and his wife want a baby, but when Zack is infertile, they ask Leonard for help.”

Oh ... they needed her to tie up a loose end? You'd think they'd have plenty to do without her.

A really unnecessary storyline to play filler for the last season. It's like the writing team gave up and decided to go with whatever stuck on the wall.

How come we only saw Howard’s half-brother once and then never again? They should hqve made him a far more regular character. Also, what about Howard’s father? Did we ever get to meet him?
