I see this special and I can relate to Rudolph...he overcomes many obstacles, and now...Rudolph needs to have his safe spot?

What next...ban Charlie Brown because he gets bullied too much?

The biggest problem in Rudolph is when the elf boss voice changes out of nowhere

Oh, and when they throw the toys off the flying sled with nothing but an umbrella for protection.

Major toy abuse.

I hope not. Political correctness in TV and movies has gotten way out of hand.

Can't agree with that one. The magician definitely murders him.

The big problem in Frosty is child abuse. When Frosty and Santa take Karen home, they abandon her on the roof.

And, one big question I have: why is all this censorship happening this year when every other year was fine? You know, I survived having watched Rudolph, Charlie Brown, The Grinch, and Frosty every year and I predict that kids will survive too.

actually, my brother and sister-in law told me yesterday (and I swear this is true; I am NOT making this up) the song has been banned from some radio stations because...it promotes bullying!

REALLY!!!

Of course there’s some bullying at the beginning. That’s how you get across the message by the end that it’s wrong and to accept everyone for who and what they are.

Except for that cowboy who rides an ostrich. What was the deal with that loser?

LOL, yes that's true. How did she get inside the house? Did she slide down the chimney like Santa Claus does? Leaving her on the roof like that in the freezing cold, she could have frozen or maybe slip and fall off the roof!!

Also, I imagine Karen's parents would have been worried when she didn't return home from school that afternoon. Did they contact the cops and file a missing persons report? Or did Karen's classmates inform her parents that she ran off with a talking snowman?? ;)

I honestly don’t see what’s wrong with bullying (in moderation and without violence). Some bullying makes you stronger and more of a man or woman. Without someone trying to bring you down, you can’t get stronger and develop courage and depth. Without a little pushing around, everyone ends up like a wet limp dumplin’.

This coming from someone who was terribly bullied in school. I’m thankful I was bullied because it made me so much better today. Id love to see my school bullies now and make them eat their words.

Same here...I've been a better person who got bullied...but I do get upset when someone rubs me the wrong way...

The problem is there is bullying to make you better and bullying to belittle you. For example, I just finished a semester (finishing my second master's) where my one professor bullied me. He didn't bully me to make me better, nope, he would make fun of him and tell my classmates things I allegedly said that I didn't. I filed a report about him because he was extreme (plus he pushed me). Compare that to an English teacher I had in high school. I was an A student but got a bad grade for a paper. I asked her and she told me she knew I could do better and I knew I could do better. Then in college I had a professor who was stricter with me on my radio assignments because she knew I was more talented. What makes these two teachers different than the first one? they knew I was smart and knew I wasn't using my full potential. The first professor I mentioned was just mean because he didn't like me.

Anyway, this whole PC has gotten out of hand and stupid. It's fine to bash Christians but if someone bashes atheists or someone not Christian it's wrong. No matter what, it's called offensive. People look for things to be offended about. I'm not offended about Rudolph or Baby It's Cold Outside.
