Today was my last day of school and now I'm a senior (yIpEs!) Now I gotta get a job...Are any of you getting a job this summer or already have a job? Hopefully I'm gonna work at the hospital. What kind of jobs do you have?

I've been working at the local pizza place for about nine months now. I actually started the first week of school, and now, I'm thinking of quitting and it's the last week of school. I getting real fed up actually.

I have a summer job. I work at my aunts. It is a berry farm. Pete's Berry Farm. She hires workers to go out in the fields adn pick strawberries, blueberries, tomatoes, and corn. Then we sell it. Sometimes I work the register. One time we had to use pepper spray. I get paid 20 bucks every 3 hours.pretty good.

My parents don't want me to get a job until I turn 16, which is just a few weeks away. Guess I'll be looking for one soon...

I recently discovered teachers make about $20 an hour or more to tutor. I'm no teacher but I make good grades and $15 an hour to teach some kids about stuff I learned forever and a day ago doesn't sound like a bad idea. Easy money. I'm considering that...

I just got a job -- about time, I've been out of school for a month! -- at a movie theater. The money's okay, the people there are really funny, and I get to go there free anytime I want! I think this job is gonna save me a LOT of money!

"Job" ? What is this "job" thing that you refer to? ;)

Naw, I think I'll pass. I'll just stay home, play video games, watch movies, and go to the pool. I don't need the money or the stress that comes from a "real" job.

I started a paper route a couple months ago. I deliver flyers Monday, Wednesday and Friday and the Sun on Saturday. The route is in my neighbourhood, too. And, actually I like my job. During the week I just skateboard from house to house. I only get paid about $80 a month which is below minimum wage, but hey, IT'S MONEY! I'll probably keep the route until September and then I'll have to concentrate on my grade 12 classes. And, plus I don't think I want to do the paper route in the winter, but I'll see.

I was going to be a candy striper at the hospital, but I was asked to babysit instead(for money, haha!). I don`t have much time left, I would volunteer at the hospital but between babysitting, cheerleading and the acting thing I go to every week, I`ll be so busy. My whole summer is booked up!

well there was a specific person at the local hospital in my town that I contacted...and also I got the name from one of the counslars at my school cuz we need 60 hours of community classroom (volunteering, jobs, interships) in order to graduate, but soo I would prob. call the hospital you want to volunteer at and ask for who can speak to about it, im not sure if that helped or made any sense! but hey i tried
