Having been a fan of UM since the first airing, 30+ years later the show still captivates me like no other. Even at work doing my computer stuff which often encompasses almost entire workdays I have it playing on the computer. Does anyone else often just "listen" to it? It was one of those shows that plays well in just audio

Yes! This is my go-to program while doing housework or working on the computer. Even if I’m not paying full attention, I love having it on to listen to in the background.

I do this a lot. The music and Robert Stack's narration make it comfortable background noise.

I'm an adult, so this is embarrassing to share, but it's REALLY hard for me to watch this when I'm by myself because I get so creeped out! It's one of my fave shows, but I like my boyfriend being at home with me when I watch it.

....yes, he teases me about it. Lol.

That's true. But even then I'll hear or see details I hadn't noticed before. To me it's timeless.

count me in as needing help! :)

I started watching in 1989 (with the Roswell segment). From that point on (due to fear intrigue) I watched intermittently until the IH 70 Killer segment when I realized I'd had enough intrigue. But as an adult I got back into on lifetime in early 2003 and have followed it religiously since. finding this forum definitely helped to realize that I was not alone. I also listen to the segments on my headphones/I-phone. it's awesome that you can actually download the prime segments if you get the app and you can watch them anywhere even without wifi or a phone signal. Funny story I have actually watched UM on an Air Force C-130 flying over an undisclosed location....I'm such a nerd!

Are you in the Air Force?? What app are you talking about? Haven't you seen all the episodes by now? Did they ever catch the I-70 killer??

AF-yes

All episodes? no...although I've probably seen most segments multiple times, there are a few out there that I have not seen. UM have segments that were shown and are no longer available. hoping one day that they come avail again.

and no the IH 70 Killer is still unknown.

If you have an amazon prime account you can download the amazon prime video app to your device. then bring up the UM series and it will allow you to download a certain number of episodes at any given time. and yeah I'm in Suffolk!

yes they are relaxing. I sometimes listen to them and fall asleep. have to be careful though of which episodes to pick...sometimes a frightening segment can still get to me.

See, if that were me, I'd be getting to sleep and hearing the "UPDATE" and that scary music would wake me up really quick lol.

for me it is. I've always been an amazon prime customer so I have not had to pay anything else.
