Feel free to post your comments on the episode. I will plan to watch it tonight. ThisLittlePiggy 11-27-2018, 10:16 PM Larry Mondello: Sure. It's just like blowing bubbles, only you breathe the other way. stevea 11-28-2018, 09:13 AM Beaver calls it a Messerschmidt pipe. MichaelMartinD 11-28-2018, 09:51 AM Larry asks if it is a German saxophone! June to Ward: Admiring your memento of the Fatherland? How could Fred Rutherford cause so much trouble all the way from Germany? stevea 11-28-2018, 11:26 AM Remember, Larry had gathered the "tobacco" by scraping up ashes from an ashtray. I think they would have been sicker than they seemed. ThisLittlePiggy 11-28-2018, 08:06 PM I love to drink coffee, but smoking coffee grounds sounds gross. stevea 11-28-2018, 08:46 PM Between coffee grounds and ashes from an ashtray, I'd think they both would have been severely sick. Scrabjan1 11-30-2018, 09:11 PM I thought Beaver would argue with Larry like he did in Ward’s Baseball and not agree to smoke the pipe. Instead he easily agrees to smoke the pipe with coffee and light matches. It wasn’t even his pipe. stevea 11-30-2018, 09:50 PM Yeah, especially since Beaver was feistier (wow--what a word--as June says to Ward when he uses the word "gumption", "Land sakes, Granny!") in the early seasons. |
