What are a few shows you were into at some point and just stopped watching for whatever reason?

Spin City when Charlie Sheen replaced Michael J. Fox. I watched the Charlie seasons for the sake of completion and there were only two times I got a laugh of them. Those two times are...

Charlie screaming at Rags
The montage with Charlie and Carter helping the Mayor at a fast food restaurant

Another World, when Frankie Frame was killed. I watched in shock and disbelief as my beloved Frankie was beaten and strangled to death before my eyes. It made me really upset, that i stopped watching AW at that point.

Scrubs, I completely lost interest in it after Zack Braff left the show. And I've never watched any of the episodes that were made after he left.

ELLEN-when she "came out of the closet" and the show became a weekly lesson on being gay.
all the C.S.I. shows-I just got tired of them.
HAPPY DAYS-after the first season when they added that annoying live audience and made it "the Fonzie show".
MASH-99% of seasons 8-11 when it became mostly unwatchable after Radar left.

I lost interest in “Boy Meets World” a few years ago and didn’t watch it but I’ve recently started liking it again and I even want to buy the new Cory & Topanga Funko POP! Vinyls.

Malcolm in the Middle (Jan-May 2000)
The Bernie Mac Show (2001-02)
My Name Is Earl (2005-06)
New Girl (2011-12)

I loved the first 2 seasons of both "Arrow" and "Gotham" but for some reason I could not get into season 3 of either. I'm sure I will go back to those some day. As for sitcoms "2 Broke Girls" was never Shakespeare but there never seemed to be much of a plot and what there was never really advanced. I still need to watch season 6 which I eventually will on DVD.

I got into watching Law & Order: SVU for a couple seasons several years ago. But lost interest because it's too dark and depressing. A show that's about nothing but sex crimes isn't something I want to watch.

I used to love The Middle until the kids grew up, around the time Sue was in college and out of the house and dating boys, Axel also. Show sort of turned into what teenagers and college kids watched.

Modern Family. Used to also watch this religiously for about the first five or six seasons and then lost interest. Kids grew up and to me it was about a bunch of snarky rich LA suburbanites. Have not seen the show in about three or four seasons and have boxes what is going on.

Better Call Saul I wanted to like but I could never get into it or really follow the storyline. To me the show was a convoluted mess. I gave it two seasons to peak my interest and it never did and really surprised it is still on. Bob Odenkirk is great and even good in this bit it loses me.

Family Matters- dont like the show after season 4

Last Man Standing- Not really feeling the new season, honestly it hasn’t been that great since season 4

The Kids Are Alright - Tried giving it a fair shot, but it's just not the show for me. I might wait for the second season to roll around and give the show another go, but for now, I'll just stick with The Wonder Years and The Goldbergs.

I totally agree for Modern Family and for the reason you mentioned. I'm surprised it is still on and ABC pays big money to 20th Century Fox for it.

But I think a bigger disappointment for me was Parks and Recreation. I really enjoyed the second and third season, but felt it went downhill around the fourth season or so. It was never a hit like The Office, but I felt there was a time when P&R was funnier than The Office when the two were on NBC's schedule.

No offense but just based off the names, you didn’t think these shows would be ridiculous from the get-go?

Some shows just go on too long. Used to love NCIS and Criminal Minds but I haven't watched either for a few years. Losing cast members and the stories getting stale being the main reason.

Actually when they first debuted they were pretty decent and you learned something from them but now both shows are just getting unbearable.

"CSI", "CSI: MIAMI" and "CSI: NEW YORK" I just got tired of them. "HAWAII FIVE-O" same reason.
In fact I got tired of all crime dramas.
