If these threads were made into movies where this was a meet up somewhere, I would be the recurring character that constantly goes through the most ridiculous situations every year just to make it there on time  .

It's weird talking at this time typically again. Every once in a while this is a thing that happens but compare that to like, a decade ago when that was the norm.

Well, given today is still yesterday for you it was the norm. That's still my norm. Waking UP this early isn't my norm.

We need to do specials this year.

Even last year without the podcast we still made that work.

Provided I have a stable internet, I'm definitely down for it. I want to do better with Christmas getting into the spirit since having no reliable net lately made me not see that Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving episode was on tonight so I missed out on that.

The selection is always hard sometimes to find a platform with stuff we can watch on things we all have but I always enjoy just being able to do that too.

If you keep occupied I could see it working since sometimes time flies and you don't even realize it but usually for me when I even attempted this, I would just get tired when no one was around to talk to and there was nothing on TV.

Ironically with being more of a gamer these days, I probably could do this easily if I really tried but my body would hate me for it and I'd instantly regret ever doing it

Happy Thanksgiving, man. Good to see you on here.

Not sure when I'll be able to catch up. I was there from 10am-10:30pm yesterday and I go in today at 4:30. It's hard to describe the chaos that's going to unfold there today when we open, and I have to be back there at 8:30 tomorrow so hopefully I actually can sneak out of there at 11 when I'm scheduled off, because last year there were still people in there at 1:30am.

That is just crazy. I credit you for doing as much as you do with that schedule because I'm not sure I'd even be able to survive. Black Friday is getting more and more over the top every year to a ridiculous degree that it's not even Black Friday anymore, it's going to be Black Week soon.

When you get a chance at some point in all of this madness, you can check Xbox or your e mail for a little surprise.

Dealing with a Roku and it's menus, I don't know if you feel the same way or not but that's the worst to me. Especially when you have to type in account info to sign in with the remote, the fear of that is why I don't even have Netflix on my Xbox anymore. I'll just use my laptop over having to potentially have that sign out

I basically just got the cheap stick thing. Didn't have many choices cause I paid for DC Universe a year in advance and they didn't have an XBox app at launch, nor do they have one yet. They keep saying they're working on it. Weird it seemed like it was easier for TNA of all companies to get an app on there than DC Comics.

I don't have Game Pass anymore unfortunately but I usually try and get it when they run those 1 dollar promotions that aren't just for new subscribers. I never even really got to play that when I had it sadly. I'm really sad Overcooked isn't online since that was free and actually seemed like it would be a really fun game to see us play. Hopefully 2 goes on a major sale sometime so we can all grab that, still too pricey for me at the moment even on sale.

Actual Black Friday seems to have actually been dying down a bit since we pushed it back to Thanksgiving. It's more like one big day spread out over Thursday and Friday with a short break in there to clean things up and prepare for the next day, with the huge rush today. And plus, there's Cyber Monday now.

I can understand that but I hope that you still cherish the good memories that are there too of what it used to be. Of course something like this that is a tradition that remains is great too.

I sort of had my moment like that today when I was getting my haircut. I have an older lady who cuts my hair and there was this older woman I'm guessing in her 80's waiting to get her hair done after me. They started talking about Thanksgiving and asked me about various stuff about it which lead to talking about traditions and whatnot. It made me a little sad talking and thinking about my great grandmother and the hand she used to have in a lot of those but at the same time, it made me realize sometimes in how cold of a world we live that just a light hearted caring chat like that is still out there, especially at this time of the year. Things change a lot and not always in good ways but at the heart of it, I truly do appreciate being able to share a tradition like this with you guys and even as Thanksgiving changes and family members get older and have other priorities than coming, just being able to know there's always a support system there during the hard times and someone to spend them with. I hope you know that we always have your back TF and regardless of the obstacles that we face, will hopefully always have this tradition and I'm sure my net will always be to hinder me every year too, I expect nothing less .

For sure. I'll always cherish those moments more now that those days are over, and I'll appreciate stuff like this even more. Very well said.

Trust me, if this was not an important tradition to me, I would not be awake right now.

I need to honestly listen to more newer music because I've kind of lost track of a lot of the newer stuff these days.

It's kind of funny because talking about Dua Lipa, I followed her real early on randomly discovering her and during one of my net hiatuses, I came back and she like blew up huge during that time with Chad telling me all of this and I hadn't even heard New Rules but apparently it was like everywhere. Nice, where at?

I live in Northern Maine which I'm guessing isn't where you went. Not really a vacationy spot unless you like potato fields and farms.

Feels like I have to leave earlier and earlier every year but guessing TFio will probably be happy to go back to sleep for awhile anyways.

Pretty soon you're gonna get here at 5am, as always I'll show up sometime about a half hour later, and it'll turn out you already left to go have dinner.

Mainly it has to do with when I can get a ride. My Mom used to be able to come get me whenever cause my Grandmother was cooking. Nowadays she has to be the one to do everything so there's like a small window of time.

At least you know us, we usually do most of our celebrating on Christmas Eve. Still kinda stinks though. We're gonna have to figure out this year when we do the Christmas day meal and all that.

The varying amount of faces in this picture is cracking me up  . You have people laughing, people looking like they're angry and people looking slightly awkward for some reason. About what I imagine Black Friday would be like even customer wise.

I remember last year being in Wal Mart just before Black Friday was starting and there was someone doing something similar giving this like big pep speech that and doing like, clapping chants hyping themselves up. It was something to stumble upon.
