Hey peeps. I was just wondering if you could tell me how devoted you are to FOL. Tell me the crazzzzz:happyface iest things you've done that have to do with FOL. THNX!!!:crazy: :crazy:

-I wrote out a complete script to an episode.

-I have searched the internet for every possible picture I can find from the show (excluding screen captures..)

-I have watched as many as 30 episodes from my tapes in one weekend.

-I slept only about 8 hours between the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights of the FOL fandemonium marathon. It wasnt on Friday night but I didnt sleep at all hardly because I was too excited.

-I made a website for the show and have spent hours on end working on it and it contains nearly 500 pictures.

-I have spent money for FOL stuff on eBay.

-I used all of the ink in my printer to print out FOL pictures. My parents were mad about that.

-I have a 200 page notebook full of quotes.

-I have 33 tapes containing FOL episodes.

-My wallpaper on my computer is a group picture of the girls.

-I would sit in my room and cry and feel like pouting forever whenever my tape would mess up or my cable would go out causing me to miss FOL.

Okay thats all the stuff I can think of off the top of my head right now.

Well, I think the craziest thing I can think of was driving 6 hours 1 way to meet Lisa Whelchel and then turning around and driving Home 6 hours that night. :)

I drove 4 1/2 hours Saturday to my sisters. Then Sunday morning I drove 1 1/2 hours to where Lisa was. Then I drove 1 1/2 hours BACk to my sisters and then drove 4 1/2 hours home that night and went to work the next morning :)

-On that weekend back in November, when FOL was on TVLand, I slept a total of about 3 hours. I also skipped Church for it.

-I spend easily over $75 a year on Ebay

-I stayed up the WHOLE night before meeting Lisa making something for her

-I watch at least 10 episodes a week.

-My computer wallpaper is of Lisa

-I cried and screamed so loud when my VCR didn't record the reunion, that my neighbors heard me. (But thanks to D, I have it now :D)

-I drove and got lost in some little hick town in Connecticut to meet Lisa

-I HAD a Lisa Whelchel website that took me the whole summer 'cause I did it with HTML but I deleted it. I need to make a new one

-I steal pictures from Ebay and use Paint Shop Pro to take the Copyrights off of them

-I've taped every NMK movie ever shown, but I also own the videos of "The Wrong Woman" and "High School USA"

-I've seen every movie Lisa was ever in. ("Twirl" is the best...not like you all care :D)

-I have 3 "Extra's" tapes which include all the girls TV appearances such as game shows, ET, Extra!, etc. (Mostly Lisa though)

-I've watched Nancy McKeon's Intimate Portrait 78 times to date.

I've got a little "FOL" shrine in my room.


That's all. NOW I've got to...here is a list.

- Almost strangled my brother when he messed up the VCR.

- Was willing to trade 8 hours of FOL for the "On Edge" episode, LOL. :lol:

-During the fandemonium weekend you slept a staggering 6 hours during a 50 hour period. (The six hours was during the Paris movie because I already had it and during infommercials.)

-Your parents threaten that if you 'quote FOL one more time they'll ground you.' ...Guess how many times I've been grounded...

-You visit the FOL board a minimum of 7 times a day even though it's slowly dying.

-You name your animals after FOL cahracters.

-You spend your History class thinking of FOL storylines.

-Your 'Favorite Places' consists of nothing but FOL and TD sites.

-You have every NMK movie recorded that has ever aired on TV, all the FOL interviews, and guest appearances of any FOL girl on other TV shows.

-You threaten to physcially abuse your siblings because they record over one FOL episode.

-You skipped social outtings in order to see the eps and watch the reunion show on its original airing.

Yeah, that's why my sisblings are petrified of me and know not to go near my tapes or VCR and my friend talley has slowly declined and I have very little life outside this board.

haha! my parents have also done the, " if you quote FOL one more time" thing...they just dont' ground me...I always just go, " hey, there are worse thigns I could be obsessed with!" and they agree and leave me alone...


one thing that shows I'm "devoted"

-People are beginning to wonder about my straitness...because of my obsession...

-I have set up a whole display of my 'Charlotte stuff' and included my Lisa book...

-I have written Charlotte 5 times...don't ask...

-I sent Charlotte that picture of me holding her birthday cake...

-I banged my head against the wall....about 50 times....when I recorded over episodes of FOL...

-I have 3 episodes recorded on about 4 different tapes...and I don't even really LOVE those episodes...

-I almost named my hamster Charlotte...

-"santa" brought me a calendar made on our computer with pictures of Charlotte and the FOL cast for each month!(YAY!!!!)

-People tell me I act like Mrs. G...enough said...

Ok Here's mine

- On Mindy's birthday, Took a picture of a bottle of Fake Wine, with a sign above it and my autographed picture of Mindy.
- Burned myself on the finger with the woodburner putting Lisa's name on the box and I was mostly worried about getting the box done and didn't worry about my finger.
- On Lisa's birthday, I did the same thing I did with Mindy's, with the fake wine and stuff.
- Sat in front of my TV for 30 minutes with my finger on the record button to record the local newscast when they interviewed Lisa.
- Read Lisa's whole book the day I got it. Then got bored yesterday and read the whole thing again.
- Currently have 455 FOL pictures (Cast members, group pix, and others.) in my computer.
- Wrote Mindy twice, Nancy McKeon once, and Charlotte Rae twice.
- Sang the FOL theme song in my head on the way to meet Lisa.
- Put one of my school pictures in Lisa's box, then put my e-mail address on the back.

Whenever I cant sleep I make up FOL and TD eppies wiht me in them. I know- im not that obsessed but if TD was cancelled Id be really pissed and if i miss an NMK movie I want to see or TD eppie I get really pissed and if FOL is not put back on Ill be really pissed.

I'm not obssessed with the show, so I haven't done anything drastic. You guys are all freaks!!!!!!!!!! Especially that Jeff kid. :rolleyes:

-Balled my eyes out when FOL went off the air, I was depressed for awhile.

-Would do ANYTHING to spend a week with Lisa.

And thats when I`m not busy. I usually am pretty busy w/ cheerleading, ad the acting camp, but at night time I`ll try to watch FOL. Thought I would share that with u.

Sadly, I must say, I haven't watched FOL since December, and I changed my user name from #1JoFan to Ewan's My Man...BUT:

-Could recite episodes by heart

-Tapes it whenever it came one

-E-mailed N@N complainin about them showing certain eppys...notice...they no longer have an e-mail address

-Spent $40 on a FOL clock

-Spent $15 on a pic of Jo

-Recorded FOL eps onto cassette tapes

-Cried forever when the power went out and I missed an eppy

-Talked about it 24/7

-Got up at 4:45-5 ish to watch my tapes over and over before I went to skool

Her is one of my favorite pics of the girls from the Reunion

- I know about 25 episodes by heart. (almost verbatim (sp?))
- I have full tapes of just FOL audio that I listen to on my walkman so I can learn the full episodes.
- I have over 200 FOL pictures.
- I have 165 (average) episodes on tape.
- I can repeat at least a few lines from every episode I have ever seen.
- I typed out pages full of quotes from FOL to put on my wall.
- I go to a FOL message board EVERY day. :lol:
- My AIM screen name has to do with FOL.
I'm sure there is more crazy things but I can't think right now!!!:D

Wow....dude...I hardly even like Lisa anymore. I mean I like her but... I'm not obsessed. I cannot believe what a nut I was.

umm okay heres somethings...but my sis just had a baby so im hoggin her all up :D but i have sometime before she wakes up....

- I have 27 tapes full of FOL episodes...I have every episode on tape.

- I had a great nancy mckeon site on homestead, but they started charging...:(

- I have 3 walls FULL of nothing but FOL photos

- I have every nancy mckeon movie on tape and every the division episode on tape.

- I have every episode of living single (kim fields was in that)

- I have nancy mckeon and kim fields IP - and Kim fields A&E biography and E! true hollywood FOL story on tape

- two years ago I was Jo for halloween and last year I was Jinny

- I have FOL Icons onmy desktop and my wallpaper is of the FOL girls

- I buy something from ebay - mostly NMK, but sometimes FOL - every month

- I have the movie on 4 different tapes

- I've written out 5 scripts and typed out about 20

- watched all episodes except 'first time' because I didn't have it at the time. In my own "FOL marathon" - stayed up for like 36 hours straight doing that....

- Bought FOL script for $50 - had it signed by Lisa Whelchel and Rita Dilton - who produced it.

- Making Lisa a Scrapbook that includes a picture and quote from each journal she wrote.

- .....I was gonna write more but she's up!! So I'll post more later...babies calling :D

Well let's see...
- I've wasted about 12 Floppy Disks saving FOL pics.
- Whenever I have a speech thing to say in Forensics I do one of the FOL eps. I did the Before the Fall ep today, it was so funny!
- I've never missed a single day of recording FOL while it was on Hallmark.
- So as a result of the above statement I have every ep Hallmark aired on about 13 tapes.
- All my friends say I have a problem, being 'obsessed' with an eighties show and get annoyed when I talk about it.
- The first phrase I learned in spanish was "My favorite TV Show is The Facts of Life!" LoL!
- Oh and almost forgot, last year my friends an I had a TV thing for our school so of course we did FOL.

It's been a couple months later, but I have about 130 eps on tape, a few pics saved on my hard drive, but that's about it. Also, I have the reunion and Rerun show on tape.
