The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of Our Lives, General Hospital and The Young and the Restless had banded together over the summer to complain about sloppiness and appearances of favoritism in Daytime Emmy voting. Now they're working with National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences to fix the problems.

Yeah, really.

I’m a huge “Days of our Lives” fan and the soap genre in general but I couldn’t give two flips about award shows.

The Emmy Awards are on the endangered species list, along with the soaps, sad to say...

Sadly, it just seems like award shows are indeed coming to an end.
